The latest update is as follows I have updated my opinion after using the chair for two months in the company of a newborn. Firstly, it's a bit wide, making it difficult to sit in. I'm 5'4" and 110 pounds, so it's a bit too big for me. You tilt forward when you don't sit all the way back. Additionally, it's so wide that it needs to be shifted from side to side to nurse. (The width is helpful when you have a toddler alongside you. b) the arms are too low to support me while breastfeeding, which is a frustrating situation, In addition, the back of the chair does not allow me to rest my head comfortably- My head has to rest on my shoulders after I tilt forward (causing the chair to tilt). Overall I am not returning it because I like it so much. The version I got for $140 was an "opened box" version, so I paid well below the list price. The more I paid, the more upset I would have been. The cushion looks good, but already there are creases in it after only two I don't like the ottoman because it makes rocking awkward. In terms of function for a newborn, I would deem this chair unfit. I need pillows to sit in it since it is not comfortable for me. I can see it being a good choice for I read with my older kids all the time in the laptop, while I keep up with my younger kids. A creak has started to occur when I rock it a certain way, but I still haven't looked into how to fix it. Therefore, only buy this chair if you are able to get a really good deal on it like I did. The chair is great. I'm so happy with it. Although I had read reviews before, it was easy to put together. I just left the arms loose and then positioned the back until everything lined up and it took me less than 30 minutes. There's no squeaking, you can rock it and swivel it and the ottoman is comfy, too. 5'4" and find the back to be a little lower than I would like. Though not uncomfortably low, I have seen some reviews where people claimed to rest their heads comfortably at 6 feet and I cannot imagine that is the case. My head can be resting on the armrest after I move forward just a little bit (the chair is big enough to accommodate that). Despite spraying it with fabric protector before I started using it, this is a sand-colored fabric that seems effortless to clean. How come the directions make no mention of some white metal parts that came with it? I'm not sure what they are for, but they don't appear to be needed on the chair. Besides having the ottoman cover all the metal underneath, I like how symmetrical the frame looks. It is bigger than I had expected, but since some reviews mentioned it works well in a small room, I just want to mention it. My favorite thing about the chair is how large it is and how solid it feels. There is plenty of room for me and my children to sit comfortably in the seat. Although it is definitely on the firm side, I thought it was still worth mentioning even though it is basically on the firm side. Only thing I would change about this chair is the arm rests are very low, not uncomfortably low, but I shall need a pillow if I intend to breastfeed. From the amazon factory, the chair was bought used and was described as being in "very good" condition, and I must say that there are no flaws visible and it allowed me to get a fabulous price, so I would definitely recommend it. It was a good buy for me. We have not had a chance to see how the cushions hold up through time, but we would recommend the.

We went to Babies r Us and a few furniture stores, and all the gliders we found there were more than twice this price and of The chair arrived in 3 days and despite the box being slightly beat up like other reviews say, it was still well packed inside and The holes did not line up with the chair back only because of the way it was attached. There was more of an issue with us getting it lined up correctly than it was with the chair itself. There is a firmness to the glider, but it is When sitting with a baby, I don't think I could need a softer couch. Some people have mentioned that the chair back is a bit short, but that only applies if you sit up My plan is to scoot down anyway so that I can I believe the chair's color is pretty much the way it appears in the picture. According to reviews, the film is not nearly as dark as other outlets describe it to be. I took this photo at a very poor angle, so the actual color is even lighter in person. I love this chair very much and am glad I took the chance of trying it out. The price is great for what you get!.

I was able to put this chair together by myself in no time at all. There was no confusion as to where to go. Spins and glides only on the chair glides only on the ottoman. The couch is very comfortable. I would order from them thing odd about it is that the cushion you sit on sticks out over the chair, it is pushed back as far as it can go, and it still does that. However, the product image does show it that way, so it must be normal as well. The depth and size of the hole are just right for my height of 5'6. ".

The color is completely different from the picture. This was a good buy for the price it was different color than the picture. I thought it would be more of a light sand color but it was more of a baige color. The material is soft as well. It is good to know the ottoman rocks too - that was a surprise to me. The age of my five years is It feels short at the back and my head is unable to rest on it. This is an excellent experience overall.

These are in a beautiful color, and they are comfortable as well. The seat is a little deep for me since I have short legs. A small pillow behind my back would be helpful to There is a nice glide and spin to it. As others have mentioned, the assembly was a little difficult due to holes that didn't line up correctly. Nonetheless, we're glad that it worked for us.

I really like it most of the time I had no trouble putting it together, and my husband did too. The only thing I wish it had was more depth. When I'm breastfeeding my baby, the arms do not come up very high, so I still need to put a pillow under my arm. I like the chair in the room, though.

All in all, the Chair is good. It is firm enough to sit on, but comfortable enough to sleep A copy of this is in the nursery of our son. Only the rocking makes a lot of noise when it squeaks. While I would have preferred a little more plushness, it is still quite.

I am okay with this product. Despite its low price, it doesn't glide as smoothly as the ones that you can buy at Target or Walmart for half the price. If you have your feet up, it almost feels like working out your ab and calf muscles just to keep on gliding.
