This was purchased to protect the little sleepy head pillow that my 10-year-old daughter has been enjoying for almost a year. This stuff worked well for protecting against vomit! The pillow was easily removed, the gooey cover was removed, and she was able to keep her pillow while I took care of the rest. The cover cleaned up well with vinegar (vomit's mortal enemy), and the pillow was ready for use once more. It was mentioned by another reviewer that it would protect from peeps, and I would like to add protecting from throw up! In addition, there was no stain or smell after the wash even though there was dairy involved. I might also add that the sleepy head pillow also weathered vomit and washed up just as well (washed quite a bit). After my daughter waited for it to dry, she was still left with it.
