An outer cover that comes with the UPPAbaby Cruz and Vista models (the same cover that comes with the 2015 models) can be replaced with this one. The inner mattress itself (styrofoam or memory foam) is not replaced by the design, neither does it replace the mattress cover The inside of the jar is made up of a substance of that type). There is no other company that produces a mattress cover for the UPPAbaby Bassinet, so if you want extras or replacements, this is what you need to order. Unfortunately, I'm not sure even UPPAbaby makes a mattress protector replacement. Although I can't say for sure, I don't know of another bassinet that is the same size as UPPAbaby's, so I presume that this product is not compatible with others. I like how soft it is and that it meets my expectations. My old one became moldy while it was in storage, so I had to replace it. This is disgusting! Uppa baby bassinets need this product to work properly. You don't need to wait for a critical accident in the middle of the night to realize why this is vital. As a result, I am so disappointed in the quality of this product. It started shredding immediately after washing it. For uppa baby, it ought to be better quality!.
In essence, this is the same sheet that comes with the Uppababy bassinet (except that this sheet only includes the outermost layer, not the waterproof liner). Since our baby sleeps in the bassinet at night, I got a second cover for spit-ups or blowouts. I have also dried the cover on air, and it works.
It is a nice replacement for the inevitable leak and accident that will occur as well as the original cover. This mattress cover fits snugly over the foam mattress, and it is easy to clean in the washing machine. It would be highly recommended.
