This is the one I went with. This is something I'm glad I bought. Carter's has created something very appealing and, of course, well-built. The theme of the sea depicted on the cover is carried through the entire book - love it. I'd prefer to have found a memory book that spans school years, marriage, and other milestones (mine was a lifetime memory book), but I haven't been able to do so. 5 appears to be the most common. So that'll do it. And this is a fantastic option; I wish I had gotten it earlier in the pregnancy so I could have remembered and filled in pages. However, I believe I recall the majority of this, and it will be a wonderful collection to pass on to him in the future: ) As you can see from the photos, there's a lot of information to fill in. The following are some of the pages: About Mommy is a book with a photo on the front cover. Daddy Page, Family Tree Page, Expecting Memories, About Baby On His Way Page, Baby Shower Page, Pregnancy 1st, 2nd, 3rd Trimester Info (Doctor, Sonogram (nice), etc), Delivery Page, Birth Certificate Finger Bracelet Page (which I really like), Hospital Bracelet Page (which I also like). Page of Toes, Page of Birth Announcements, and Page of World Events Doctor Visits are listed on the Happenings Page. Pages For Each 1-Immunization Record, Dental Record, and Months Pages All 1st Page, Vacation, 12 Months On Memories And Milestones, Eating, Etc. Each Birthday 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 5, The First Day of School, and a Couple of Other Pages.
It simply lacked sufficient writing prompts and keepsake pages. So I placed an order for this book, returned the other, and received it today. I'm head over heels for you! It's well-written and of excellent quality! There are so many pages to fill with all of our little one's unique characteristics! Because it's difficult to describe how much is included here in a few words, here are the page titles: br>It's all about mommy here. daddybr>My family treebr>Family photosbr>Baby on the way - when and how we found out, told others about the baby, and so on. br>Bundle of Joy photo pagebr>Showered with love - enough room to record two baby showersbr>I'm really looking forward to meeting you - another page for pregnancy information (first heartbeat, first movement, when mommy started to show)br>Pregnancy information pages for each trimesterbr>Love at first sight - br>Space for birth certificatebr>details of labor and delivery Hospital bracelet pagebr>Hand and foot prints pagebr>Birth announcement space to glue a copybr>First day at homebr>Settling inbr>All my visitorsbr>News and events of the day I was bornbr>Logs for doctors visitsbr>Immunization records pagebr>Full page for dental records as the teeth come inbr>Monthly details pages for first 12 monthsbr>All my firstsbr> stories)br>each with 2 pages for birthdays 1- My first day of schoolbr>Special memoriesbr>A letter from mombr>5 years oldbr> br>br>Absolutely adorable! br>br> Now all I have to do is hope that the baby in the oven is a boy! 😄.
For my little boy, this is a cute little book. The plot of It appeals to me. It came exactly as pictured, with lots of fun pages to fill out, including one for mommy and daddy, how they met, baby showers/events, baby's arrival, and a page for their first finger. Monthly pages from the baby's first birthday to their fifth birthday, with toes stamped. Memoir pages, favorite foods and toys, and a list of their favorite things. The only thing I have to say negatively about it is a tiny stain on the front cover of my book on the white border of where baby's photo goes, which is where doctor visits, immunizations, teeth, and even world leaders and prices of gas, diapers, and so on go. I was able to remove the majority of it, but it is barely noticeable unless you are looking for it. This is a book that I would strongly suggest. Thank you.
I've only added pictures and keepsakes to the first two months, and the book already doesn't "close. " Since I plan on adding a lot more photos for each month that he grows, I may have to look for a different book.
I didn't even consider it, but I was concerned that it was too late! Anyway, choosing one online was difficult because you can't scroll through the pages, but I'm glad I went with this one! I like how it has sections for how much things cost today, a receipt, a penny, and who is president, among other things, but it will be fascinating to look back on! Every month has its own page with plenty of space to write; I'm overjoyed, and the nautical theme is so cute. Thank you very much! Carter's, you never let me down.
Baby book that is both cute and thorough, as well as of good quality. It's one of the best things I've ever bought. It has four pages for two baby showers (and no one gave me a baby shower for this one: (I don't have anything for it) but in the past, I've learned to cover unneeded pages with pictures in baby books. br>br>I'll also include pictures on the dental and numerous doctor visits pages. Even with the first one, I don't keep up on filling those out, so I'm sure it won't happen with this one, but it makes great pages to put extra pictures or glue in some art work, or a certificate of some sort. br>br>The spots for pictures don't always fit 4x6, but you can glue them in without covering up our writing if you don't care to keep the order, or you can just cut the picture down like I usually do. I simply reduced the size of the image.
For my little girl, I had a loose leaf version that was very similar. I thought I read somewhere in the description that this was a waa, but I was mistaken. I felt a little let down. The quality, on the other hand, is excellent, and I adore the packaging. It retains all of the characteristics of my daughter's book. It includes monthly pages, a section for firsts, and numerous photo spots. Despite the fact that it is not a loose leaf book, I adore it.
