Yes, this book is ideal for families with LGBT members - whether Baby is a biological child, a surrogate child, or an adopted child Instead of using the words "Mommy" and "Daddy," the prompts use words like "our" and "we." I'll give you a few examples: "Our reactions to seeing you for the first time," rather than "Mommy and Daddy's reactions to seeing you for the first time," is how the book puts it. And "The story of your arrival" replaces "How Mommy felt during labor." There are a slew of other instances where "Mommy and Daddy" are purposefully left out - This book was designed to appeal to a wide range of families. The questions are straightforward and open-ended, with plenty of room for you to add your own personal touches, such as photos, stories, or more detailed explanations of how Baby entered your life.
Yes, there is a page titled "tiny fingers, tiny toes" with spots for two photos, the date, and the baby's age.
Yes! On our Amazon store, we now have a boy's version available. Simply click on "Peachly" beneath this product title to be taken to our store, where the boy version of this book is available for purchase.
It doesn't work like that at all. Celebrating You is a spread with five lines for writing and a page and a half for photos of baby showers or celebrations.

It's so lovely, yet so simple, that any photo could fit on the page without clashing with the background. I also like that each page can have any size photo or multiple photos. Unlike the book I used for my first daughter, it does not have a 5x5 photo box to fill. I like that I won't have to crop my photos to make them fit or choose between two I like. Both have a place in the world. I also like how the holiday section doesn't specify which holidays are celebrated, instead allowing you to add photos for the ones you want. This is fantastic because my other child's baby book had holidays we don't celebrate, and I wished it had more room for the holidays we do, and now I'll be able to include what I want. I'd also like to point out that the design and detail are simply lovely, rather than being overly "baby cutesy. " In addition, the construction appears to be quite solid. br>br>I had bought a more expensive baby book for my first daughter and I'm still trying to finish it two years later because of all the unique pages etc. With this baby book, I'll be able to add what I want and use the extra pages for whatever I want without feeling obligated to finish all of the details that other baby books have. Let's be honest, no one has time for all of those details; we just want to keep a few precious memories for ourselves and o br>br>This is one I strongly recommend!.
She is due to give birth to a little girl. It was well received, and I believe her boyfriend was just as, if not more, enthusiastic about filling it out! Corner protectors were used to secure the book. The spiral binding is particularly useful because it expands as more documents and photos are added. Years ago, I bought a baby book for my son that had a book binding and was filled with photos that caused it to stretch and bulge. This book has an 8-page count. There's no need to fold regular sized papers to make them fit because they're 5x11 in size. The different sections are divided and denoted by floral pages, which are followed by B pages. W or a polka dot that isn't too obvious. The book has just the right amount of information to fill in the blanks without being overbearing. Extra pages can be customized in the back, allowing you to truly personalize it. The only thing I didn't like about the book was that it didn't include a family tree, but that is just a personal preference. It wasn't a deal breaker in the least. Also, while the back envelope is attractive, I wish it had a clasp to secure items inside. The top of the envelope is open, and if it is accidentally flipped upside down, things could easily fall out. That's about it. absolute perfection! I'd buy this memory book again in a heartbeat!.
I just got this baby book in the mail today, and it's even more beautiful than the pictures! I usually take a while to get on here and write a review, but I'm so excited about it that I just had to share my thoughts right away. I'm not a member of the LGBTQ community, but that doesn't seem to matter when it comes to the book. I looked for a long time and decided that this contemporary design was superior to the other baby books available. The exterior's quality and feel are excellent. The pages are thick, and the colors are incredibly vivid. The only thing I would change is to include more blank pages throughout the book, rather than just at the end, so that you can add your own memories. I would also have made it a binder so that you could add more pages if you wanted to (of course, they would have to sell extra pages separately). Aside from that, it's absolutely stunning and of excellent quality.

I originally gave this 4 stars because it had a tiny black spot on the front that stood out because it was grey. After purchasing the book, I received an email asking how I liked it, and I simply replied that I enjoyed it but that it had a spot. I didn't expect a response email because the spot wasn't a big deal to me, but they responded and informed me that a replacement book was on its way. I'm surprised, but what incredible customer service; I didn't expect it. It's a very cute book, and I'm looking forward to writing in it. br>*original
We have several baby books, and I've found it difficult to fill them out because there's so much information, and I prefer to keep things simple. There was a small dark spot on the front, so I gave it four stars. It's something I noticed right away, and I'm sure others will as well, but it's not a big deal.
This book has a lot of good prompts, but it's also very open-ended. If you don't do something specific (like a baby shower, a specific holiday, or a specific ritual), you won't end up with blank pages. It is appropriate for all types of families because it uses the word "we" rather than "mom and dad. " It has room for a lot of pictures, including pictures of family members, and they aren't organized in such a way that they have to be horizontal or vertical—just open spaces to fit whatever photos you have. It includes monthly pages, a growth chart, and pages for each year 2- 5, plus firsts like a haircut, a bath, and a trip. It's well-made, and the floral patterns are delightful. The back envelope expands to about 1/4 inch (6mm), so it should be able to hold a few basic mementos.
I had another baby book that I didn't care for (and had to return). I wasn't sure I could answer honestly in such a "public" forum because it asked very direct questions. This book is much more flexible, allowing you to include photos of any size or orientation, as well as a pocket for small mementos. The packaging was impressive in terms of keeping it safe during transit. I liked the new box better than the old one right away, and I think it would make a lovely gift. It's just a spiral binding, which I don't care for. This is something I'll definitely keep, and I'll probably get one for my pregnant sister as well.
