This is actually disappointing to me. I thought they were so cute, but they're not very educational. My favorite part about their "function" is that they have no thematic content There is no educational aspect to these nonslip place mats. A number of the planets don't seem to be scaled, body parts do not seem to be scaled, the world map is bland, and states on the US map have really strange images. There was a part of me that Despite their functionality, they will still be used because, as I said, they're functional, but I wish they were cuter and had better printing.

What a great idea these placemats are! The initial purpose for which I bought them was to show my daughter different states since we have many friends and family spread all over the country. My daughter was asking a lot of questions about where certain people live and I wanted something visual that she could use as a It was a little too big and I wanted something smaller & more compact It must not be too large.
