"Perfect Design" is not perfect. These placemats were first purchased by me in March 2018 and I have been completely smitten ever since. No home was ever left without them. They stuck well to any surface and they adhered perfectly to any surface. As such, we had to order more when we eventually ran out. The headline on the product page was changed to state "perfected design" when I reordered this product in August 2018. I thought little of it. My first impression of them was the same. A placemat from the new batch was then used. Among other things, it's difficult to get the adhesive strip off the table, as you have to pull it off with an adhesive strip It was never difficult for me to remove the strips from the placemats when I made As difficult as it is to unstuck the thing from the table, just as hard is it to get the thing back on! I first tried cleaning the table by using a strong blade which tore the placemat apart and left a strip of plastic behind. The placemat from the table should be removed from the table before leaving a restaurant as an example of courteous behavior. I didn't think it was a fluke the first time it happened, but after two episodes I have decided never again to use these placemats on wood tables. (I still carry some with us, because they are Additionally, I have a lot of them left and would like to put them to good use. However, now I am looking for a new brand so I can carry one item with me that I can use at any restaurant on any table. There should not have been a "perfect" version of this product design. Before, I had advised so many people about it and I thought it was perfect the way it was. Without a doubt, I will not be ordering from the company again.

This mat does exactly what it says on the box Providing a clean eating surface for restaurants is one of the main reasons to use these cute, super sticky masks. However, they are so sticky that I feel I need to test a small section of each new surface to make sure they won't damage the top of the table (no issues thus far, but other reviews have mentioned In addition, for each of the four sides of the product, you will have to peel back the adhesive on each side individually. There are two things to consider when trying to quickly set up a child at the table it's frustrating and time consuming, and results in four pieces of garbage.

Overall, these are attractive and functional, but slightly difficulty to use due to the multiple adhesive points and the need to test the surface to ensure that it will not be damaged when the mats are removed.

My attempt to remove the tray from the restaurant table found it cute and functional, but it would not come off. When I first tried, I couldn't take the placemat off. We peeled it off of the table top once it had adhered to the linoleum firmly but carefully, but it was very sticky and left nasty sticky remnants all over the surface. To get it off the table, we had to rub for 30 minutes. The fact that I didn't stick it to my wood table at home is a big plus. I am pretty confident the finish would disappear if this were done.

I had hoped to find options with more user-friendly designs, but the only options were imprinted with cartoon characters and weren't quite as handy The Tidy Tyke mats were what we were looking for when we ordered more and are extremely happy we picked them! Aside from their cleaner design (which initially prompted us to order them), the most noticeable thing that stood out to us was their simplicity. Cartoon characters are not against us, however, the designs on Tidy Tyke's products seem to fit much better with our personality. It is also easy to use, which is another noticeable difference. When you strap your children into a high chair, there is always a mad dash to get a mat put down as quickly as possible so your little ones can start eating and won't It would frustrate me that competitor's mats didn't have little sticky tabs that I could easily peel off The little one becomes more and more antsy as my wife and I attempt to peel the mat's tabs off, all the while the little one grabs the mat. Fortunately, I am delighted to report that the Tidy Tyke tabs come off very quickly and easily. The only thing I wish I would have done is to have purchased.

Ensure your little diners have a good time with these mats. It does not bother me if there are germs on the table. I was able to put the food right on the table with no worries when my little one had a phase of throwing plates. Depending on what age your child is, I may wrap the bottom of the mat around the table, as teething babies often chew on the edge, or kids tend to touch the bottom (where they don't get wiped, let's face it). My curious toddler couldn't peel the mat off of the table thanks to their super sticky backing. This is always commented upon as a wonderful invention by the wait staff and customers alike. We have shared them with a number of friends on play dates and lunch dates all of them were In addition, the packaging is excellent A slim, resealable bag that can be slipped into a diaper bag, purse, or car console with ease.

This is fantastic! The texture was OK, but the stickiness was excessive. On a restaurant table or someone's dining table, ah ah, then you have to get creative. Remove the protective seal on corners, rub the mat against your shirt to cause some lint to collect in there, and voila, it remains sticky. What a great experience to watch my granddaughter eat her food off of this instead of a plate at restaurants!.

The rest we have used have made their skin itchy. They are easy to remove when I have finished eating. The adhesive is the strongest I have found and it still works for me afterward. As you can see, it came with a lot of them. I am not sure if I will use them all before my child uses a plate when eating out, but even if we don't, they will be perfect for protecting the table from art projects. It is seriously the best product out there!.
