To be fair, I only received this today, but they appear to be exactly what I needed. My toddler would prefer that all eight plates be purple, but a little variety is nice, and the colors are exactly as shown. It's also a good deal. br>I wasn't sure if they'd fit in the top rack of my dishwasher (which is why I wanted a small plate), but they do. I'm not sure what the Product Dimensions are referring to, but the plates themselves are about 7 inches in diameter. I haven't tested durability, but for the price, even if they only last a month, I'll be happy. However, as others have stated, the plates appear to be durable enough to last a long time; I don't microwave much plastic, so their strength or weakness in that category is irrelevant to me.
Because these plates don't have sections, it's easier to serve foods of various sizes, such as sandwiches, bagels, and other larger items. These are a little on the small side, but they're ideal for a toddler who's starting to eat more at meals. The colors are vibrant and enjoyable to work with. They're dishwasher safe, which is a big plus, and after a month of use, I haven't noticed any warping in the plastic. Some reviews claimed that the plates scratched easily when cutting food with a knife, but we cut our food on a separate plate or cutting board, so I can't comment on that. Overall, I'm very happy with these plates and would recommend them to anyone.
They were more effective than I had anticipated. I started by drilling a small hole in the middle of each plate. After that, I used 275 utility cord to run through the holes. I was able to attach each plate rig to my sun-catcher by tying stopper knots on one end and taughtline hitches on the other. At the grommet points, there is a screen. I buried each plate about a foot deep in the sand and made sure they were completely covered. On the North Carolina OBX, this setup stayed put for a few days. Thanks to the hitches, I was able to easily adjust the tension whenever I needed it. br>br>We watched as people with tarps, umbrellas, and various canopies struggled for up to half an hour to set up their shade. And the majority of them had to contend with the brisk OBX winds all of the time. Not us. )br>br>I used a sun-kissed sun-kissed sun-kissed sun-kissed sun-kissed sun screen. Even when we used the plates to dig holes for them to be buried in, they held up well. The sand was easily removed with a damp cloth. ) I stowed them away, figuring we'd use them every time we went to the beach for this purpose. Cord, plates, and shade are all included in the total cost. $30 in total Melanoma is being kept at bay. It's priceless.
Microwaving plastic is probably not a good idea, so our fault. br>br>In addition, these plates would be ideal for our 3 and 5-year-olds if they were two inches larger. year- old. There is simply not enough room to fit all of the food on there, so we usually use two each.
I'm using these dishes to feed my small dog to help her eat more slowly. She wolfs down her food when she eats from a bowl. Her food is a little more dispersed in these Munchkin dishes, which slows her down. The fact that the dishes are dishwasher-safe is also appealing to me. Top-rack safe, compact, and stackable. Quality is excellent.
The bowls that go with it are the ideal size for toddlers and young children. Cleaning is a breeze. I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher because I'm not sure if they'll fit in the bottom. My husband insisted on putting them in the microwave, but a few of them have the telltale signs of microwave abuse, lol.
They easily fit on his tray to the high chair we've attached to a kitchen chair, and they can be washed in the dishwasher.
Serving dinner to my one-year-old toddler has never been easier. The plates are the perfect size for her meal, they're easy to clean, and they're not likely to break. br>My order includes two packs of four plates, totaling eight plates, which is far too many for a single child.
