As the duckbill gets thinner, it looks like the original spectrum is distorted. Considering I've had my duckbills worn out for over a year now, I'm not sure how these pieces make suction, but even my worn out spectra s2 duckbills give Due to these things, my milk drips into the bottle with quite a bit of air in it. There must be an issue with the seal, otherwise the seal would not stay intact. To get their pieces, just go to the Spectra website. It is almost certain that my production will decline if I keep it up.
I couldn't get it to fit the Spectra S1 flange snugly. A part of the cap fell into the bottle as soon as I removed It was possible to hear air coming through the tip when it was supposed to It's a big disappointment.
For some reason, the duckbills cause bubbles to form in my breast milk despite my diaphragms being fine. The bubbles are still forming even after I have rinsed them more, despite thinking it may be soap residue. Moreover, I think that the suction of the Spectra duckbills is inferior.
There is no way the book could be any less than a one star. This suction is horrible - it does not work the way my spectra does. At one point I was about to give up because I thought that my milk supply had dropped. I switched from my old kit to the new one when I got a free replacement kit from my insurance because it was the Spectra brand and my milk supply increased My mistake was thinking I was the one doing it it was these stupid duckbills instead.
It seems to work pretty well for these. The fact that they are affordable is appealing to me. For my Ameda Mya pump, I bought these and they worked well. Also, I recently bought a Spectra S1 and they work well with that device too.
The fact that it was a set appeals to me. This price is great for so many duckbill valves. I have used my Spectra pump for years with no problems. Although the circular suction thingy is too large, it still won't fit. Due to the fact that I really needed the replacement, I am very disappointed. The purchase of these items must now be made separately, and I am disappointed by this.
Note that these are not original duckbill valves from the Spectra Pump. This one is more of a universal one that works with Madela and Spectra. It is important to carefully read the description. There is a difference in the level of suction produced by the device. In fact, I had a decrease in milk supply.
These duckbill valves and diaphragms appear to be good quality replacement parts. In the same box that the valves are maintained, they stuffed the diaphragms. I haven't used them yet because they are backups, but they seem to be working.
