This anti-colic bottle does not work.
I bought the two bottles together, and the flow was way too fast. So I ordered one newborn size, and my 7-week-old is still having problems with it. Despite having a longer nipple, Dr. Brown 1 is suitable.
They're precisely what I was looking for! These sizes (1) are extremely difficult to come by! After my cats chewed up some of them, I needed replacements. I looked for them at Walmart and Target (at a few different locations) but couldn't find them. These are size 1 and come in two packs of two.
On a daily basis, I babysit my 1-year-old grandson. He had been suffering from colic and acid reflux for quite some time. His feedings had to be slowed down. He had a lot of fun with "Flow 1. " I'm still using it with him at 3 1/2 months, despite the fact that it's designed for newborns.
These were purchased to go on my Phillip Avent glass bottles so that my daughter would get less air and not gulp down her formula while feeding. These nipples are supposed to go on glass bottles, but they don't. So I can't vouch for how well they work, but I did want to point out that they won't fit on the glass Avent bottles. I was able to return them to Amazon thanks to their generosity.
The fact that the product comes with a Size 2 hole in each of the four nipples is not mentioned anywhere. My baby was gagging and struggling, so it was a challenge; only to find out the hard way that I am feeding her far more than she requires! br>br>I'm curious as to what prevented the product supplier from clearly writing or from providing two bottles, one with size 1 and the other with size 2 nipples. br>br>It appears that the supplier anticipated that the customer would be pressured to buy more nipples IMMEDIATELY, and that this marketing strategy would benefit the company.
There has been very little extra air gulping while feeding because of the slow flow. Creating a happy, healthy baby for our girl.
My foster children have experienced less gas and discomfort thanks to these bottles and nipples.
