Thank you for contacting us about the Boon NURSH Nipples Three Piece Pack, Stage 3! Yes, they can be washed in the dishwasher.
Yes, my daughter suffers from acid reflux, and her pediatrician recommends that we thicken her formula with a pinch of baby cereal. She's currently using the Stage 2 nipple, and it's working out beautifully.
Thank you for contacting us about the Boon, NURSH Silicone Replacement Nipple. These measure 5/8" in length.
All other brands are significantly slower than this one. The slow flow is meant to reduce upset tummy, and I believe it is 1ml/minute. Baby will have to work hard to get it to flow quickly.

Using 0m nipples on a pound newborn: Dr. Brown 2, Boon 1 ml/min, Avent 5 ml/min MAM 2, 5 ml/min Toppee Tippee 2 at 5 ml/min 5ml/min). If a baby eats too quickly, he or she will spit up or vomit; the Boon nipple's slow flow is ideal for a baby who spits up frequently.
br>At first, I didn't think they'd work for my baby (2 months old) because the nipple is a little harder than the rest of our bottles, but they've quickly become our favorite and go-to bottles! The first stage is slower than the others, allowing him to relax and drink without gulping, resulting in less spit up and gas. He also doesn't click and lose his latch the way some others have. I just placed my third order and will be packing up all of our previous sets (Avent, Dr Browns, Tommee Tippee, Nuk, ComoTomo, Playtex).
Other stage one nipples have a much slower flow rate. My nearly two-month-old is still using stage on his Dr. Brown bottles, but only a little comes out of the stage 1 boon nipple, which makes him very upset. We moved on to stage two, and he was much more accepting.
It's ideal for switching between bottle and breast feeding, as well as transitioning from breast to bottle. They have a wide range of colors, which I adore. You won't find a better deal anywhere else. The nipple is smaller than most other bottles, which I discovered. At the age of two months, my daughter was wearing a size two diaper, and by the age of three, she was wearing a size three diaper. She was wearing size 3 at the age of five months. However, each baby is unique, so keep this in mind if you're using these bottles. I also purchased sippy cup nipples, which I am looking forward to using. It's a good idea to get a bottle that will last you all the way until your child is a toddler.
These are incredible bottles. They're the only ones that my breast-fed baby will eat. They're adorable and simple to assemble and maintain. I also appreciate that replacement inserts are available in case a bottle is accidentally left in the diaper bag overnight. They also come with these cool sippy cup lids, so when she's finished with her bottle, I can use the sippy cup lids and keep the lovely nourish bottles! Just make sure that when you buy these bottles, you also get the nipples, because they'll need stage one when they're a newborn. These bottles have stage 2 nipples, and the flow was too fast for my daughter, so I assumed she didn't like it. However, it was simply the flow coming out too quickly for her. I was worried about how we'd get her to day care if she wouldn't take a bottle, but these have solved all of my problems! They're fantastic, and the money spent was well spent. Boon, you did an outstanding job!.
I'm a big fan of the Boon brand. The nipples are excellent in terms of quality, durability, and ease of cleaning. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the flow is significantly slower than that of most other brands. This isn't a problem, but it should be made known. During the second month, I had to transition from stage 1 to stage 2 nipple.
Because I believe the stage 1 nipples were too slow, I switched to stage 2 nipples sooner than they recommended (2 months). It's more like a premie flow at this point. That isn't necessarily a negative thing. When I was still breastfeeding, it was a great stage 1 nipple to avoid "nipple confusion" due to the faster flow bottle. However, I believe that the stage 2 nipple is now the ideal balance for her! I absolutely adore my Boon Nursh bottles, and I've tried every other silicone bottle out there.
My daughter and son were both picky about which bottle they would take when I wasn't available to feed them, and this was the only bottle they would take. Cleaning is a breeze, and it's a long-lasting product. Some bottle holes can rip or tear, but with boob, I've never had that problem. I strongly advise you to do so.
