Questions & Answers
No, you put a diaper in the whole and turn the handle; the diaper falls into the pail and it's time for the next diaper.
I don't have just any bag; I have the bum genius cloth diaper liners, which are far too thick to work with the seal. So far, the pail has performed admirably with plastic liners. I'm trying to find a useful cloth bag.

Kitchen bags with a capacity of 13 gallons are what I use. You may use a smaller size.

I only recently received my Tidy pail, and it has proven to be a superior alternative to our current Diaper pail. Its design, with the shoot and suction piston, looks like something out of a science fiction film. spaceship from science fiction There's nothing else to do with this pail. In comparison to my other pail, I would get a whiff of whatever was brewing inside every time I had to open something to drop a diaper in. br>br>I can use almost any plastic bag with this pail; grocery plastic bags work well, but the capacity must be kept in mind. There are no exclusive bags in this store. br>br>I didn't even read the instructions because it was so simple to put together. br>One thing to keep in mind is that if the pail is left where toddlers can reach it, the handle will be very tempting to fiddle with, and they will be dropping random toys in the pail!.
It's almost on par with Diaper Champ. Would have given 5 stars if it didn't use a piston type head to catch wipes, as opposed to Diaper Champ. Pad wrappers (I'm responsible for a 15-month-old). 96 y/o. They also use a unique latch system that is much more difficult to open. It uses standard kitchen trash bags, but it isn't tall enough to make full use of them. To keep the diaper pail smelling fresh, I learned from my Diaper Champ to drop one of those small deodorizing cakes (the kind that hangs from the side of your toilet bowl with a wire attached) into the bottom. There will never be an issue with odor. Overall, since Diaper Champ is no longer manufactured, this is the best diaper pail you can get.
This pail has left me feeling very let down. The concept is fantastic, but the execution is lacking. The lid rarely turns all the way around, and wipes rarely go down. Rather, they become entrapped. I'm wondering if I have a faulty design or warped plastic, but I never received a response from Creative Baby after contacting them through their website. Because of the apparent poor manufacturing and lack of customer service, I would not recommend this diaper pail.
I used to work at a school where the child care center used these, so I'm familiar with how they keep the room fresh. I like that you don't have to buy them special bags.
It's a lovely design that's simple to put together and hasn't given off any odors so far. Because you can use any garbage bag, it's less expensive than pails that require you to use specific bags. The only problem right now is that if it gets too full, things get stuck.
I'd suggest it. This thing is incredible. I LOVE that I don't have to spend money on diaper pail refills. That's something I did with my twins five years ago, and it was ridiculous. Instead, grocery store 4 gallon trash bags will suffice. He wears a size 3 diaper, which we change about once a week. I also put a box of baking soda in the bottom, one of those with the sides open for the refrigerator, and that takes care of any odors. However, I also toss the soiled diapers into my household garbage can, which I empty every night. In any case, I'd rather do that than keep soiled diapers in my baby's room.
For years, I had an ubbi for my babies, but I didn't like how a stinky scent escaped whenever it was opened, even when no poopy diapers were deposited. So when it broke, I figured this would be the solution to not having to open every diaper and not being sucked into special bag purchases. My assumptions were incorrect. The diapers become entangled in the flip-flops. After a few, they pile up and become clogged in the top mechanism. All of this means that you'll be opening a stinky diaper bin on a regular basis. It also has a smaller capacity than the ubbi. This is a complete failure. I'd buy another ubbi and throw this one away if we weren't so close to potty training with our last one.
I didn't like having to pay a lot of money for special bags, and it was difficult to get rid of the stinky bags and remember to tie them back up. That isn't the case with this diaper pail! br>br>Uses standard 13 gallon bags that stay in place well. You open the top, grab the bag, and toss it out the window. It's very simple. br>br>When disposing of a diaper, there is no odor and it is simple to do one-handed. This pail can also accommodate larger diapers. A full size 4 diaper is no problem to throw away. Would highly recommend! br>br>.
