A snug fit that can be adjusted. I don't use synthetic covers so they stay on even with 2 cloth diapers layered on top of each other. Initially, they had a faint scent of rubber or something like that from the manufacturing process, but it soon dissipated after hanging them outside on the clothesline. Now they smell like wonderfully soft cotton - one of my favorite things about this shirt. It does have cotton seeds in it, I could see them in This is a 5 star product that is so soft and well.

I find it to be too I think these are perfect for when my daughter is bigger, but the velcro does not tighten to the proper size

Even the very tightest I can make them is still too small for her. While it may fit my daughter, she is already small for a 19-month-old, so I don't see how it can fit a youngster who is less than 18 months old.
