Our baby normally uses Snappis but this was purchased when some of his small prefolds were starting to become difficult to fasten together, and he wasn't large enough for a medium prefold yet. Using them allowed us to extend the life of the small prefolds by more than a month. It is easy to use, and I always rinse them after use. There seems to be a lot of durability in them.
Fasteners such as these are useful for diapers made from gauze. As for flannel, I tried them on it, but the fabric was too tightly woven for the teeth to easily cling to it. There hasn't been a chance for me to try birdseye or any other types of fabric, but gauze is perfect.
It takes a little longer to get used to these fasteners than Snappi. In the past few days I have cut myself a few times on the teeth. However, they work really well to keep nappies in place, look adorable, and are a great price, too!.
This is one of the things that falls off as my baby walks. I see it stabbing her leg when I change her diaper. Applying it is faster than with Snappi, but it has a really sharp edge.
This works better for me than snappy diapers because I have a large, squishy baby. For my squish, nappies were not able to go hip flap to hip flap. In addition to leaving marks, they leave snappies' marks as well. It does not seem to have changed.
The device is easy to use, but prone to loss. There are a few things in them as well. The diaper fasteners that clip into a single piece suit me best.
Yesterday I tossed these, so I must have received them yesterday. Whenever they do this, my diapers end up with giant holes. It's not the price of the diapers that makes the difference here. As for prefolds, I use Osocozy unbleached ones. My diapers are full of giant holes because of the boingo. The quality of these is poor, especially since I paid so much for them. It seems to be impossible that they could make the grippers of high enough quality to prevent this. The photo shows three of the four areas where the boingo gripper has left a line of holes.
