They're pretty good for 3 to 4 hours, but I put mine in disposables at night since he began to wet a lot
Yes, of course! It has been over a year since I started using them. Our process begins by soaking the pails in 1/2 cup of vinegar before we wash them.
What's great about them is when they are paired with a natural fiber (cotton, Since I had frequent leaks when I kept them in pockets, I now use them inside covers. The bamboo and hemp pillows we use in our overnight sleep routine keep us going through 12 hours of sleep. (on the sides of the top/stomach) If you are using covers and are able to combine it with another insert, it is worth trying!
The size of the diapers will be large, especially for newborns. It was easy to fold and they worked great! I folded the front of them since I have a small child, and they folded flat.

This charcoal absorbs odors and we bought it because that is what it is supposed to do. There is no such thing. My mother, a retired nurse, has been impressed by Charlie's Soap, which we use for laundry detergent. We've used the detergent on both front-loaders and back-loaders, and it successfully eliminates odors. Immediately after they have been changed, they are soaked in baking soda. Finally, we put them through extra rinse in the washer after a prewash and washing. items should be washed in cold water as directed. There is an ammonia smell to them all. I would recommend changing the diaper within 3 hours at the latest, otherwise a musty, but sharply penetrating fume wafts up to your nose as soon as you open it. There are four brands of diapers we offer Alphababy, Charlie Banana No. 2 The first One and Grovia), and they are much smaller than Xone. The Grovia app is our favorite. The shells are reusable, they do not retain smells, and the liners are absorbent and do not retain smells, unlike all the others. Basically if you are looking for a budget option, Alvababy is fine. You can choose from Charlie Banana, Bumgenius, or Grovia for $20. Grovia is the one I recommend the most I've got it. Although I go to great lengths to remove the smell, even when we take all the steps to remove the odors, I still smell the musty ammonia in the air. My only regret is that we opened only one of the 12 sets, and we were able to return the rest.
Cloth diapers are a new experience for me, but these inserts are easily the best ones I've ever tried. They lasted 10 times longer than the inserts that come with the 6 pack Alvas when we took a trip to the zoo for a day. By cutting down on bulk, they are well worth every penny. Designed to soak up a ton of sweat and also works perfectly as an overnight insert.
My favorite charcoal inserts are these. When I put my son's clothes through the washer and bleached them, my son did not leak through them until after I did. It is very important to read the washing instructions before using these or you will ruin the product.
My first microfiber inserts were made from microfiber. These were nice, but I had to double stuff the pocket diapers to keep them from leaking. As a result of double staffing, the diaper was so bulky that we had to order a bigger size for the shorts and pants for the These bamboo charcoal inserts were the next thing I found. It doesn't need to be double stuffed and there are no leaks with these inserts. They're top of the line. He should be recommended to all cloth diapering parents.
CDs like these are great for us. We are new to CDing, but really like them. I was led to believe that these towels were very absorbent, but they're not. It's mostly the elastic in the middle that makes them really effective at catching poop and leaking. The covers are a bit long for the alva covers, so you'll have to adjust the bottom up, so you can just fold them If you put them in with a couple of microfiber inserts for extra absorption, they are especially effective!.
I will buy a second pack since I like them so much. In the first few washes, the lint got all over them, but now they are looking It is a bit bulky in comparison to my other favorite inserts (yeti hemp and stay dry cotton), but I find them to be beneficial for layering up diapers at night. In between cotton and hemp, I tucked them in. The day time insert can also be used for infants in size one diapers. I use one for my two-year-old daughter in size one diapers. I can wear them for four hours at a time without any problem. Just dislike the way bulky they are. They absorb a lot but are not a fan of their bulkiness. As a word of advice, you may want to wash and then dry them at least three times By only washing once, I made the mistake of You don't need to prepare them - the instructions say not to Please do so or else you will end up with a sad and wet It is a solid option to use inside of Alva pocket diapers.
I love this shirt but one of the gussets broke after the first wash. It says one year warranty on the label, but I cannot find a way to contact them.
You are doing a great job with these. These are the same size as Alvas and the cheapies on eBay. I use them with Wegreco pocket diapers, and they work just fine. As well as being absorbent, they line dry much faster than the other bamboo liners I have. These liners are my favorite. Wish I had bought these liners and 24 wegreco cloth diapers instead of wasting money on a variety of other diapers and liners. All I need are these!.
