When my daughter was younger, I used a nose freida with her. I liked the function but despised the price, so I was overjoyed to find this one for a MUCH lower price, with a suction that appears to be less violent but just as effective as the other one, which took my daughter's breath away and made her cry. ***Update**

This is extremely difficult to clean And there are only three replacements included. Furthermore, the reduced suction simply does not perform as well. I'm finding the bulb syringe to be more effective; it still makes my baby cry, but not nearly as much as before. It's a good idea, but it's poorly executed.
I bought it because of the price, as I believe nasal sucker products are overpriced. This was a far superior alternative. Why not, since I'm also familiar with the brand? The amount of mucus we were able to expel astounded me. Many negative reviews, in my opinion, are due to the lack of nasal saline. It's a good idea to thin the mucus. The only drawback I can think of is that sucking up mucus requires a lot of strength. It's probably because my baby is stuffy all the way down in her sinuses. I would recommend this product to any parent, and I plan to use it for a long time because it is easy to clean and the case is beautiful.
br> My only regret is that I didn't discover this sooner! I've squandered a lot of money on replacement NoseFriedas as well as extras for travel. I'm pretty sure I could have purchased 50 of these! br>It comes highly recommended.
It's also much easier to clean, and I like that it has a cover to keep the gunk contained (which is more hygienic). For those who are curious, it's also just as effective and doesn't crack as easily as the Nose Frida, which is why I've had to replace it so many times.
This and the nosefrida were given to me at my baby shower. This item was not on my registry, but it was purchased in place of the Frieda by a mother friend. This one appears to be of much higher quality, as well as being far more user-friendly. The hose is more flexible and longer, and the part that goes into the nose is smaller, making it more suitable for small babies. In contrast to the Frida, it also comes with a very nice case. From now on, I'm going to buy this for mommies.
It was a better set up than it appeared, but the inside of the packaging was filthy. It appeared to have been opened before and then sealed with a new "sticker," and it wasn't used every day, but I had to clean brown dirt looking stuff off of it in several places, and it had 2-days worth of food in it. Is it true that there are three leaf-like pieces inside the case with it?.
" My son is a special needs child. One of his problems is that he regurgitates through his nose on a regular basis. This has been extremely beneficial! It's a world of difference from the Nose Friedas we were using previously. The hosing is soft and flexible, with a wide design that makes cleaning a breeze.
It's more comfortable for me to hold and use than the Nose Frieda, and it's also less expensive. It's ideal for a diaper bag because of the case! I've been unable to locate replacement filters, so I've been forced to wash the ones that came with it. I'm holding on to my last one like it's gold because they're small and easy to lose.
