It makes me sick to know this happened to my daughter because I brushed her hair with this brush. I don't use water to comb my newborn daughter's hair - I only use a dry brush. Sadly, I am not sure what materials are used for the bristles. Beware of this seller, she asked for a full refund.
It has a couple of features that make it stand out. Since there are probably not many differences between baby brushes and combs, I will list the things that might set this apart* the brush is quite soft - the comb is a bit irregular - and the brush is very light. Unlike some brushes, mine doesn't worry about being too rough on my baby's scalp, but the bristles are strong enough that they work with her fine baby hair
The colored part of the brush (purple on my set) is a little soft. I like it even though it is not an important feature. These are tall enough to hold
They fit nicely inside a cute pencil pouch that my sister got my daughter for Christmas. This comb has teeth that are bent slightly and are rounded nicely on the tips (so they won't scratch). I might prefer the teeth to be closer together on one side, but my baby's hair is very thin and very fine. I may prefer to have the teeth closer together but this might make him a bit tougher. This hairstyle works well for her, and her hair won't remain like this forever, so this can't be viewed as a negative.
Our family has four little dogs, three of which are rescues. GingerSue is the fourth puppy and the third Since she was 3yrs old, she had horrible skin issues. She came to us at 7yrs old with seizures and horrible skin itching, for which she takes meds. Her adorable smile and playful nature make her so She doesn't have to do anything except be happy. That's all we ask for. These brushes will be used to give her a bath by me. As she spins and softly scratches her back, she itches all over. That's why she loves it so much. Almost a year ago, when my granddaughter was a little over a year old, she decided she wanted to try brushing A good quality toddler brush. It is soft, almost as soft as an infant brush, and it does an excellent job of cleaning A great thing about the comb is that one side is for detangling, and it is easily handled by both adult and child hands. I'm happy to report my granddaughter still enjoys having her hair brushed, and she really enjoys the new brush and comb she recently purchased!.
The quality of what you get depends on the price you pay. Upon receiving my first brush, I noticed that the bristles were A replacement brush was sent to me, which was great customer service, but I am still unsure how good this product is. The bristles of my toothbrush are losing their shape after a few uses. I suppose it may simply be the nature of these soft baby brushes that make them not very attractive. That coupled with my first issue, I am led to believe the brush is cheaply made, thus its price. The brush itself is smooth on baby's head, but she doesn't enjoy it. It works and is decent for the price, but it won't last. I would have preferred if the teeth on the brush were closer together to collect loose cradle caps. It takes several runs with the brush and comb before I give up and use my fingers to remove the last few stuck-on hairs.
It worked great for when I was trying to get rid of my daughter's cradle cap , and we continue to use it today. I highly recommend it - it is well worth.
The pictures in the gallery show both packages to have been damaged. There is damage to the bristles as a result of.
It's one of their new favorite toys (especially for the price). The sets fit easily into their hands and they really enjoy chewing on the pieces(added bonus, not intended purpose) I would purchase this set again without hesitation.
