I was extremely let down. What you get for the price is laughable. The only great item is the essential oil, which comes in three small travel size items. The vapor stick is disgusting, with little to no scent. Stick to Zarbee's relaxing chest rub; it's incredible! The vapor wipes didn't have much of a scent to begin with. It appeared to be just a regular baby wipe; for the price, more should be included, and perhaps a vapor bath wash in addition to the Frida saline they sell, to make it worthwhile. There are better baby sick products on the market.
Don't waste your money on this overpriced, overhyped item! The image depicts how small everything becomes as you progress through the game. To give you an idea of how small my hands are, I'm 5'3" and pretty petite. I bought it on the spur of the moment because my three-month-old son is suffering from his first cold, and as a mother, you want to do everything you can to keep your child comfortable. Frida Baby products do not impress me in the least. The chest balm has an odd odor to it and is extremely small. This isn't my favorite. I prefer Zarbees Soothing Chest Rub. If you're looking for a chest rub and nose wipes for your baby, I'd recommend Boogie Wipes and Zarbees Naturals, as well as organic essential oil/vapor drops from your health food store, which will last longer and work better. I understand that mothers buy these items because they are convenient and recognizable, but don't waste your money on this one.
And then there was the rub we gave her right before she went to bed! Everything about it was ideal.
The vapor rub has a pleasant scent and is very gentle on the skin. The wipes are ideal for on-the-go use. the- It's easy to transport and can fit into any bag. The diffuser drops are a perfect match for the Fridababy humidifier I recently purchased. These products are all fantastic during the winter months, when everyone seems to be sick. I also like how it's packaged.
I adore this product because it fits perfectly in my purse, allowing me to carry all of these items with me when my daughter has a cold. The nose wipes are my favorite item in the set; they have the best scent and are very refreshing (perfect for toddler noses, as she fights me with other items when I try to clean hers!). Because there aren't many other baby-friendly items, the vapor rub and drops are also ideal for those colds.
I bought this because my daughter was congested and I already had the wipes, so I thought $20 for the entire set was a good deal, especially since the pack of wipes was only about $4. However, when I opened the package, I was struck by how TINY it is. The only drawback is that in the future, I would prefer to buy each item separately. **update 03/12/20** The stick has no discernible eucalyptus scent. It doesn't have much of an odor. Those that are familiar with baby Vick's or oilogic, in my opinion, work much better.
Vicks is far too strong for a 9-month-old, in my opinion. My daughter has had numerous sinus infections and colds in her short life, and this product has proven to be extremely beneficial! The Eucalyptus makes it easier for her to breathe. Her skin is extremely sensitive, and she suffers from Eczema, but the roll-on stick did not irritate her in the least. We put the oil in her bath, but it was very hard to smell. I eventually decided to put it on a small diffuser, which worked much better. For her runny nose, I usually use boogie wipes, but these work just as well! Although they aren't particularly potent, that small amount of essential oil helped her breathe more easily.
Everything in this box appeals to me greatly. The only reason I didn't give it a five is that I thought there should be more nose wipes (they went by quickly) and perhaps one Natural Vapor Bath Bomb so that parents could try them as well.
