It actually makes me angry that I didn't find it never occurred to me that I might be able to find him an electric toothbrush that will certainly keep him entertained while brushing. It shocked me to learn that an almost 2-year-old giggles every time we brush, which does not make me want to rip out my hair while brushing!

EDIT I learned that my hair is a better color than I thought. My new tooth brush stopped working since last month after ordering it at the end of December. I love that my 2 year old can use it because it's similar to the one he has at age 6 which is a Phillips Sonic Care. Similar to vibrations, it works in a similar way. When you are brushing your child's teeth with the light, it is a very useful feature. The smile on their face lights up the whole room. There could have been better quality in the brush head and it looks as if it will need to be replaced sooner than expected. Extra replacement heads would be a great idea.

This is a great product for the money I paid, especially not being deterred by the "top reviews. " There's nothing like it on the market (my 18-month old chews on it) and it works great. Now he asks to brush his teeth whenever we walk into the bathroom, even when we have to hold him down to do so. A few months ago, he wouldn't even let us brush his teeth except when he had fever. It's wonderful because he starts brushing by himself then lets me brush it after, and doesn't kick, scream or cry while he does it. If I had bought it sooner, it would have saved us both a lot of pain and tears. We've added this to our list of items we'll need for baby #2 already.
