Using a nail sander is the easiest way to cut a baby's nails. Not a single flinch was made by my newborn. When I used it on my skin, I could barely feel it and it didn't hurt at all. Furthermore, I have found the nose suction to be the best. The parts that fit into the nose are shorter so using it is easier for the baby. Among our favorite items are the nasal aspirator, nail file, and toothbrush. Kits like this are hard to find! As far as the nasal aspirator is concerned, our little one doesn't even seem to mind having it in her nose because it's so soft. As you can see, the nail filer comes in a variety of colors, but they didn't use extremely different colors, so it's a little confusing The system is coded. If you want to use one on a newborn or infant, however, you can pretty much just run your finger over the file to find out which grit to use (smoothest feel will be the one on the high grit). I think the hair brush is very soft, but it seems like there are a lot of extra bristles that didn't get attached to the brush.
