I bought this for my baby because I thought it would be more natural and better for his skin, but I was sorely mistaken! A massive rash of red splotches covered his entire body. We have been using Johnson's night time baby wash for about a year and take baths every night. We were out of ideas, so I decided to try something different. This makes me very happy! br>br>First and foremost, the aroma is incredible. It doesn't smell like synthetic perfumes, but it does smell like lavender. Second, the soap foams up beautifully. Last but not least, the lotion is incredible. It only takes a small amount to make a significant difference. My one-year-old son suffers from eczema and has extremely sensitive skin. I feel like I'm always fighting her eczema, but because she's allergic to oats, we can't use a lot of the eczema-specific soaps and lotions. I looked through the ingredients and couldn't find any traces of oats (you'd be surprised at how much it's in), and her eczema is almost completely gone after using the wash and lotion for two nights in a row. No joke. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. I've been fighting her eczema for over six months and think I'll be able to clear it up in a week with intensive lotioning and steroid creams, only for it to reappear in a few days. This cleared it up in two days, with only twice-daily application of the lotion. Consider me as awestruck. I'm not going back to anything else!.

The only reason I bought this product was because I smelled the SAME exact product in Target, and it smelled amazing. Because Amazon was having a great sale, I decided to buy it there instead, but now I'm wishing I hadn't. There's a problem here - Maybe it spoils after a long period of time?? I couldn't find a date anywhere, and everything was sealed. Very sad.

It took a few uses for me to figure out what the smell was and where it came from. My boyfriend told me to stop using it on the baby because it smells like real baby puke, which disappointed me because I bought a few of these before the baby was born and I like how it feels on the skin, but who wants to smell like baby puke? I'm not sure what ingredient is causing the odor, but I love fresh lavendar and it doesn't smell anything like that.

The scent isn't as strong as I'd hoped, and the shampoo dried out my daughter's hair. The conditioner helped a little, but it wasn't the right product for us.

It appears that I'm not alone in having a foul-smelling lotion! I first received something similar for my baby shower and fell in love with the scent, so when I saw it on Amazon, I knew I had to get it again. The shampoo smells exactly like I recall! The lotion, on the other hand, smells awful, almost musty with a hint of sweet orange vanilla. I contacted customer service, and they sent me a replacement, so hopefully the lotion in that one smells better.

The lavender scent isn't overpowering. The lotion irritated my son's skin, causing a rash. No other lotion has ever given him a rash.

When I got the product today, I decided to give it a try with my son, and it was a huge success. He showered, ate dinner, and left shortly thereafter. We've tried a lot of different brands and none of them have worked as well as this one. I should mention that he didn't nap today, but we did have a very peaceful day (I'm due any minute). He did say he enjoyed the scent, which I did as well. A little goes a long way in this case. We only used two pumps for the entire bath, which was plenty for some bubble play, which is a big plus in my book because my child loves bubbles. I will continue to purchase it.
