The only reason I gave it three stars is because it was so expensive, and I would not recommend using it on a baby because it burned the crap out of my eyes when I used it on my grandkids! My eyes have never been burned by a regular dove as much as they were by a baby dove. And, while they don't claim to be tear-free, I'd expect a baby product to be much gentler.
The price of a pack of these is slightly higher than what you'd pay in the store. The soap has a pleasant scent and lathers well. It moisturizes for the first few washes, but as you use it more, your skin becomes more dry. It's ideal for travel or product rotation. It burns in different places, so if your child has sensitive skin, be cautious. If we use what's left over from our homemade base, I rotate the product so we don't use it every bath/shower. Only wash the arms, legs, torso, and other parts of the body.
"I adore Dove!" is the only thing that comes to mind. " I was so disappointed when the ingredients for Lever 1000 changed because the lather and soft scent are all I could ask for or want. Thank goodness Dove is still a tried-and-true favorite!.
I'm a big fan of the Baby Dove bars. They lather up just as well as, if not better than, Baby Dove body wash and last a lot longer. Same no-tear formula, same cleaning, but no waste when I turn away and my toddler pumps a quarter bottle of body wash into the bath in an attempt to increase the amount of bubbles.

This bar soap is one of my favorites. It's something I've been doing on myself for a few years. It has a light and pleasant fragrance. It doesn't have that old weird soap smell that some bar soaps have, and it doesn't dry out my skin; in fact, I don't have to moisturize after I shower most of the time. It always makes me feel rejuvenated. It's also portable because it's not liquid, so there's no risk of spillage.
We bought it for our son so he could bathe himself and get used to using soap in the eyes. The scent is a little strong, but it smells fine; therefore, I did not give it a five-star rating because we prefer unscented products.
This soap is one of my favorites. It's more moisturizing and has a pleasant scent. The bars are slightly smaller than standard Dove soap bars.
