It was a waste of money. This item was purchased in the hopes of aiding my baby's sensitive skin. I tried it on my face and it instantly dried it up; however, I continued to use it on my baby, and her dry patches became even worse.
This is the best face and body wash I've ever used. The ingredients are fantastic; there is nothing bad or unnecessary (fragrance) in them. I use this to double cleanse my face: the first wash removes the makeup and sunscreen, and the second wash cleans everything up. It cleans my skin without stripping it, so I use it as a gentle body wash as well, and I love it. I've also used it as shampoo and a makeup brush cleaner in a pinch. It performs admirably. This is the same product as the Babo Sensitive Skin Hyra Therapy Wash, which is marketed to adults - - Ingredients and formulation are the same - So I just buy whatever is the cheapest/most readily available at the time, and the bottle lasts me a couple of months even with everything I do with it. I don't think I'll be able to go back to anything else anytime soon.
This gave me high hopes, but it irritates my scalp and skin. I'm not sure if it's because of a particular ingredient or because it dries out my skin. The itch goes away when I stop using it, but it reappears when I resume using it. I intended to purchase just one to try it out before ordering more, but I made the mistake of purchasing two. It's too late to return them, so I'll have to toss them out, but not before giving it another shot in the spring when my skin isn't as dry as it is now. Best of luck to me. Later, I'll give you an update.
I tried it and it irritated my eyes, so I know it's not a good soap for my children. When I used it with them, they cried, but I wasn't sure if it was just a bad day until I tried it myself.
For my family, I've been on a mission to only use skin products that are free of toxic chemicals. The majority of the body washes I've tried are either too expensive or dry my skin out. Because I have a strong sense of smell, it was especially difficult for me to find a fragrance-free option. I liked the free product. Finally, I'd discovered Babo Botanicals is a company that specializes in the production of botanicals I got it from the EWG website and have been using it for about a year now. It has a pleasant scent. Sulfate-free free of parabens and other chemicals body wash at no cost That's exactly what I want, and it doesn't irritate or dry out my skin in the process. This is my go-to body wash, which I order on a regular basis. We're overjoyed to have discovered it. .
I'm always on the lookout for gentle cleansers as an adult with eczema. And while this has worked well for me in the past, the most recent bottle was a huge letdown. The odor is rancid, as if it's gone bad. This is especially concerning because this product is designed for babies who have sensitive or eczema-prone skin. I couldn't imagine bathing a baby in this product, especially since it was sent in such poor condition. I only used it once before discarding it. Having said that, I do use and enjoy the lotion included in this set!.
The genuine article has no odor at all. This smelled almost identical to acetone! If you get one and it smells like anything, don't use it!.
My 5-month-old had eczema all over his body, which was red and irritated, and he would cry if I tried to moisturize it. I decided to completely change his bath and body lotion, and he was completely healed in less than two weeks (despite not using it as frequently as I should have). His legs have a few small patches that need to be cleared up, but his back, bottom, and arms are all healed. It was well worth the money. Now I'll be a repeat customer!.
