Yes, I believe so. It isn't velour, which, in my opinion, isn't very absorbent. We've been using it for nearly a year and it's a very soft terry cloth. We have two, and I think they're fantastic.
My 2 1/2 year old loves his towel and there is plenty of room, so I'd say it's good for newborns to at least six years old. He'll be able to encircle himself in it.
Yes. The size of the painting is 30 x 36 inches.
Yes, they resemble an adult towel in appearance. Only that they are smaller (infant size), and I still enjoy mine, and my 5-month-old son still uses it:

The quality is terrible. I washed it first before using it, as I always do with new clothing, and it came out SHREDDED. It's machine washable, according to the description. It's NOT. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
It's adorable, and the size is ideal for a toddler (between the ages of 2 and 4). It's one of those situations where you get what you pay for. Perhaps it's even worse. Before you buy, think about why you want to buy. br>Removing the tags caused the threading to completely break down right out of the box, so make sure you cut those! br>There are a few other warnings on here about the product's quality, and I'm not sure if people just had unrealistic expectations, but as someone who purchased this for my toddler to use at preschool/camp - I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that would end up being misplaced or destroyed. br>As a result, you are free to interpret the following good news as you see fit.
1. It is light (due to its thinness)br>2. Because it's a towel, it'll dry him off (as long as he's outside in the sun)br>3. There will be less of a loss if he destroys it (it will be VERY easy for any small child to destroy this)br>I haven't washed it yet. So, either this thing will last the summer or it will succumb to the "first wash" disaster I read about when I bought it:.
I was extremely dissatisfied with the towel I received. I've wanted the Moose for my son for a long time because he's so adorable, and I wanted him to have a towel like his cousins. br>When I first opened the package, I got Strike 1. The towel was not nearly as soft as I had anticipated, and it had an absurd number of hidden plastic ties holding it together. I was afraid I'd cut the towel trying to remove some of them because they were so tight. Strike 2 occurred when I washed this towel for the first time before using it in the washer. It was unraveling all over the place when it came out of my washing machine! This towel appeared to have been used for years after only one wash. It's not my washing machine, because none of my son's other towels have gotten this way, despite the fact that they've all been washed several times, and none of our other towels look like this. Strike 3 was the final nail in the coffin, and I was ready to throw in the towel. It is almost completely devoid of any absorbent properties. After my son's bath, I needed to grab another of his towels to finish drying him. br>The only positive aspect of this towel is its cuteness, which is why it receives two stars. The rest of it was a complete disappointment. br>br>I'd also like to issue a pricing cautionary statement. I bought the Moose as a present for my sister. Last year, I became a mother-in-law when my nephew was born, and when I found out I was pregnant a few months later, I knew I had to have the Moose as well. It cost me only $14 when I bought it as a gift. When I went to look for myself, I discovered that the price had been raised to FIFTY BUCKS! So, obviously, I declined, but I continued to check in. I was overjoyed to see the price drop to around $13, so I took advantage of the opportunity! However, this towel looks completely different, so I'm wondering if something changed as a result of the price changes. Hers is fluffy, soft, and absorbent, and it lasts a long time. It's just that mine is a flop. /br>There was also another towel with a jacked-up price, which had previously been lower priced, at the time I bought mine, so I assume the price changes based on demand or something. I just wanted to share what I've noticed with others.
They've done a fantastic job! There have been no loose threads of any kind in my life. br>br>I read some of the negative reviews, but it appears that some users were to blame for their towels being ruined. A photo of the towel with a bunch of threads all over it was shared by one reviewer. Her washer and dryer appear to be broken. Then I read another review where the author stated that she ripped her tag off and was disappointed when the seam unraveled. Come on, let's face it. br>Both of my son's towels have been used four times. For nearly two years, I washed 5 times a week with weekly washings. There haven't been any issues for me. In fact, I intend to purchase more for our next child! br>The texture appeals to me, and the cuteness factor is an added bonus. The monkey and froggy ones belong to us.
Every year, until they are around 8 years old, I buy hooded towels for my nieces and nephews. This year, I gave my Niece a Frog towel, which she adores. "Ribit ribbit," I'd say over and over as I ran around my brother's house. br>br>These towels' designs aren't as ornate or "busy" as some of the other hooded towel designs. However, they are still very cute, and the quality of the materials used in these towels is far superior to that of other towels I've purchased in the past (not from this company).
I bought eight of these towels for my daughter in a short period of time! They aren't the softest, especially if you don't use a dryer sheet, but they are a good size for a two-year-old, and she enjoys making animal noises while I'm drying her off. They're soft and absorbent, and they've lasted a long time. Some of them have stuffing in the animal's head (bunny ears, lion mane, etc. ) that has busted the seam and is beginning to come out over the course of the year. I simply removed the remaining stuffing and continued to use the towels. Because the birds and monkeys do not have stuffing, they are my favorites. These are a little large for an infant, but they're perfect for toddlers!.
