I'm very pleased. Because our Graco Extend2Fit is a little too big for our compact sedan, we bought this as a second car seat. Our 2017 Lancer and 1999 Durango both look great with the Admiral. In every way, this one makes strap adjustments easier. We are very pleased with our purchase.
Loosening the straps on this car seat is extremely inconvenient. which you must do every time you fasten your child's seatbelt. You used to lift a flap and then gently tug on the straps in an older version. In this model, you must reach deep into a small hole with your fingers and then pull on the straps while pressing down on a lever. This is difficult to do when the car seat is in the rear-facing position because it is very awkward for your hand and wrist. This is something I don't think anyone with short or large fingers could do.
This was purchased for our second car, but I was underwhelmed. To make it recline, roll up towels and place them beneath it. That does not appear to be a safe option, nor does it appear to be worth the money saved.
So far, this car seat has been fantastic! It was easy to set up, and my son appears to be at ease with it. The cupholder is at a great angle, so my 13-month-old can easily reach his sippy cup and put it back, unlike some of Graco's other carseats, which can be quite hard; it also has a good amount of padding, unlike some of the company's other carseats, which can be quite hard; and it has a good amount of padding, unlike some of Graco's other carseats, which can be quite hard; and it has a good amount of I was worried it would be too big to fit in my 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage, but it surprised me by fitting nicely behind the passenger seat.
This car seat was purchased to replace our'safety 1st' vehicle seat. The only features that mattered to us when choosing a car seat were that it was compact and could fit next to an infant car seat, that it was easy to buckle, that it had at least one cup cooler, and that it looked sleek. (Of course, there was also the issue of safety. ) We had trouble fitting an infant car seat next to a convertible rear-facing car seat in our Encore because it was so small. With this seat, we were able to pull it off. It's a hit with my daughter, who describes it as "comfortable. " It's simple for parents to buckle and adjust as our child grows; it's a little heavier and more difficult to install than our Safety 1st, but that's not a problem for us because we don't move the seat. We were blown away by it and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
It appeals to my son, and he appears to be at ease in it. It's adorable and stylish, with plenty of space. My son, who is a year old and weighs 30 pounds, is a year old. There's enough room for him even with his winter coat on, which is convenient.
My daughter-in-law recommended this car seat because she owns one and considers it to be one of the best on the market. I'm impressed with that, as well as how you can adjust it depending on the child's size; we used her car seat when my grandson was an infant, and we'll be able to use both of our car seats for him for many years. He's very relaxed, and I'm confident that he's as secure as he can be in this car seat.
A more basic Graco seat that lacks a few features, but is still a good seat and a great deal on sale. If you're familiar with the process, it's fairly simple to install; however, I wish the anchors were of the seatbelt type with a button to release the seat without having to loosen the strap, rather than the hook style that must be loosened first (which is fairly difficult to loosen). I also wish it had strap pads, but getting a set was a relatively inexpensive purchase, so it wasn't a big deal. Aside from that, I'm very pleased with the seat, especially the adjustable headrest and strap.
