My daughter is much happier during car rides now that we've been using the seat for about a week. The extra cushions, cup holders, and one with a small tray were all very appealing to me. br>br>My husband completed the installation and stated that it was relatively simple. br>br>I gave it a four-star rating because, while using the mesh cushions in the car, my daughter's earring got caught in the mesh and she started screaming! At first, I had no idea what had happened, but when I pulled over, I discovered that it had pulled her earring out. br>br>Although the mesh cushions are very useful, and I ordered the purple one because I liked the color, we've since removed the mesh because I couldn't bear putting her through it again.
In addition, there is a steep learning curve to contend with. I bought a new item and got a used one in return. I'm going to keep it because it's not a huge deal, but it's shady and you should be aware of it. The item I received was in a box that had been opened and retaped, with all of the parts and books inside. The instruction manual had been creased and folded. The cup holders had been scuffed and had clearly been used. I'm not sure if I received a display model or if it was borrowed for a road trip or a review and then returned. The Badbr>br>The Instruction Manual is over 60 pages long and written poorly. At first, figuring out the seat is a bit difficult, and the book isn't much help. It wasn't too bad after a few minutes of playing with it, but there is a learning curve to be aware of. br>br>I'd buy it again, but only if I got a second-hand copy. We had two Evenflo Symphony Elite car seats before and loved them for their comfort, padding, adjustable straps, and ease of installation, so we expected the same from this one. I wasted two hours attempting to convert this four-digit number into a three-digit number. 1 seat to be installed in a forward facing position. On the sides of the seat, there is no energy-absorbing foam that provides side impact protection. It was difficult to understand the 83-page manual. br>br>In the end, I was unable to secure this in my vehicle as easily as previous evenflo models, and this was the deciding factor in my decision to return it. It was a waste of time to go through this. Instead, go for the upper crust.
We bought this car seat for baby number two, but when it arrived, I realized that my older child would use the booster seat first, so she'll get to use it first, and the baby will get to use her old car seat (a safety 1st seat weighted for 65 pounds with no booster). The amount of padding on this seat as well as how nice it looks impressed me, and my child was very excited to sit in it. A commander's chair in appearance and feel. I have another one and assumed this was the same, but it is identical to the one my son has. While I like many aspects of it, tightening the straps is extremely difficult, if not impossible. In the event of an accident, I'm worried about whether my grandson is properly secured. br>It was returned and replaced with another model.
I was extremely dissatisfied with this car seat. We already had an evenflo e3 for my son, so when we needed a larger one for my daughter, we went with another evenflo- We didn't want to do it, but we had to. This is a terrible car seat! It does not get tight enough for the car seat to not move around with the latches once it is installed; we had to put the seatbelt behind it and latch that, which helped a little but not enough. I went to put her in and tighten it up a little bit. Make certain you're dressed for the gym! It's extremely difficult to tighten the straps by pulling the bottom tab. Unfortunately, we purchased two of these in January and have passed the return deadline. Save your money and look for a different model or go somewhere else.
In terms of installation, the instructions were very clear. The safe latch made it simple to hook in the base, which is always the most difficult part, and the recline made my daughter feel very relaxed. Because the price was so low compared to the other seats I was considering, I was a little hesitant about what I would get. What I got as a result was a pleasant surprise!.
