She is 18 pounds and 14 months old, and she does not sit comfortably in it, as she appears to be slumped in the seat. Don't be fooled by the cute Mickey/Minnie design; get your money's worth by investing in a better car seat, as there isn't much cushioning for crash protection.

I'm only giving it a three-star rating because it's new and I haven't yet installed it. The color appears to be bright red rather than orange red right out of the box. On the bottom right, there isn't a Mickey. The labels are sewn on the seat cover and not on the pictured item. Made in America with imported materials, according to the box. Booster's only claim to fame is that it's made in China. There is no Cosco in Doral, according to the product. Dorel is the owner of Cosco, as far as I'm aware. Is this a genuine Disney item or a rip-off? It appears to be petty, but where is the signature, anyway? Also, don't advertise Made in America when the product is clearly only assembled in America. Bottom line, it's a great price, and if it's not a fake that's dangerous, it's worth it, but clearly not as advertised. br>Recent changes: Doral was the one who got in touch with me. According to the model, the seat is authentic. Very professional customer service. I didn't even need to inquire about the proper cover. She said it would be shipped first class and delivered by the end of the week. According to Doral, the seat is designed to move during a crash in order to absorb pressure rather than the child. It all makes sense. Customer service receives a perfect score of five out of five. br>Date of last update: December 16th. Doral and I have exchanged numerous emails and phone calls. The bottom line is that the Mickey signature car seat padding for the APT 50 has been discontinued, according to customer service. Still, I'm going to do it for APT 40. I'm not sure why they stopped making it for one size car seat but not the other. Despite this, I give five stars to customer service. They did send a car seat pad, but it was identical to the one that came with the car seat in the first place. They offered to send a gift to my grandson in exchange for my trouble. It hasn't arrived yet, despite the fact that they stated it would take two weeks. So, if you order an APT 50 car seat, be aware that the bottom right corner of the pad will not have Mickey written on it. br> br> br> br> br> br Well, I really wanted to keep this seat, but after sizing it to fit my 34-inch frame, I decided against it. 2 yr. weight of 25 lb The shoulderstraps were adjusted to the second position from the top for an elderly grandson. My daughter and I tried them on the highest setting for when he grows up and couldn't get the straps to reach the anchor on the back to reconnect. I was able to connect them after some more attempts, but an older child would not be able to fit in the seat. I contacted Doral again to see if the wrong straps had been sent, but received no response. We wanted to put this seat in our grandparents' car and use it as he grows, as described. In the end, it's not going to work, at least not with these short straps. As an RN, I've dealt with a lot more difficult situations than this one. They also sent a complimentary gift to my two-year-old daughter. For all of the previous trouble, I blamed my old grandson. It had been a three-month journey. baby toy. I don't want to come across as ungrateful, and I wasn't looking for a freebie, but come on, he's two, don't patronize your customers. I like how the shell is constructed for use, but Doral, you need to improve this seat. It works well for some people, and my grandson can use it right now, but not in six months. or a year, which is not at all what was advertised.

This is a fantastic car seat for small children. It is well-liked by our daughter, and it fits in the seat better than the previous one. Only a couple of minor issues: 1. br>br> When we're rear facing, there's very little leg room, and we'll be front facing in about two years. Because it's set further back in the seat than most models, the bottom buckle rubs against her thighs, but it doesn't leave a mark, and she doesn't complain. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br At first, releasing the bottom buckle/red button can be difficult, but you'll get used to it. br>br>Aside from that, I really like the cup holders, and the head cusion is a great bonus. I also like how simple it is to put together, clean, and adjust the straps!.

I like the car seat, but it's a little too big for me. It's crowded in the backseat of my Chevy Avalanche. It has a lot of safety features, and she can go down deep in it without having to stand up very high, which is a good thing. It'll be useful for a long time, which is a plus.

This car seat has been in my possession for almost a year. For the price, it's a fantastic seat. It takes only a few minutes to set up and can be used either forward or backward. I gave it five stars at first, but my daughter has outgrown it now that we've had it for a while. She's only 16 months old, but she's already 30" tall. This seat claims to fit children up to 40 inches tall, but this is not the case. We're still having trouble buckling her in because the harness and clip are at their maximum lengths. Her head is almost level with the seat's top when she sits in it. I'd still recommend this seat based on the price I paid and the mileage we got out of it. However, it will not last as long as it was intended for our purposes.

And it was a pleasant surprise for me! My two-year-old has a great fit! The seat is deeply indented, allowing them to sit comfortably without moving forward, which is a feature I appreciated because my toddler occasionally slides forward in her other seats, making it difficult to properly tighten the straps. This keeps babies and toddlers close to the back, allowing the straps to be tightened to their maximum capacity. It also helps that my toddler is obsessed with Disney and loved the seat, owing to the fact that it was Minnie Mouse, which was a good incentive for her. Her weight is 23 pounds and she is 29 months old.

I was able to adjust the seat to their preference and secure it safely in my vehicle. The tether belts are excellent, and I had no trouble tightening and loosening them as I installed them to ensure their safety. It was well worth it! When we go out, they stay put the entire time, so I don't have to worry. The seats are solid and not at all flimsy; I was concerned after reading the reviews, but I believe that many of the complaints stem from improper installation. I would highly recommend the seats, and if you don't like them, you can simply return them.
