Questions & Answers

Is it possible to cover this seat with a marathon cover?

Thank you for getting in touch. The Marathon G4 cover fits on the Allegiance, but not the Marathon ClickTight cover.

Is it possible to use this car seat with the Bob Rambler stroller?

This seat is convertible, but it does not attach to a stroller and stays in your car. Our infant seats are the only ones that can be used with a stroller. Thank you

How long do you think this chair will last?

Thank you for getting in touch. A permanent label on the car seat will include the manufacturer's information, as well as the date. All of our car seats are brand new and assembled at our headquarters in Fort Mill, South Carolina. To find out how long your child seat is supposed to last, consult the user guide that came with it.

How simple is it to clean? Is it possible to wash it in a machine?

It's simple if you follow the booklet's instructions. It specifies that the dish should be washed by hand. Despite the fact that I machine washed mine on delicate and hung it to dry, I had no problems.

This is my favorite car seat out of all of them
5/5

For our single child, we've had quite a few car seats. We've gone through a Cybex infant seat, two Combi Coccoros, two Britax Boulevard Clicktights, one Nuna Rava, and now this. br>Even more than the Clicktights, this is our favorite. br>We used to travel with our Coccoro because it was so convenient. However, our daughter outgrew it rear facing, and we weren't ready to turn her around just yet, so we went on the hunt for a travel seat that would allow us to keep her rear facing until she was four years old. This is a huge victory. br> I bought it because I liked that it had a lockoff for installing with the seatbelt, which works great, but it's so easy to install with the latch that we use it even at the airport curbside. I also like that the lower anchors adjust individually, which makes it so easy to install. I also like how they store in the seat by clicking into it. This makes it easier to attach it to a suitcase while walking through an airport. br>It's also lighter than the Clicktights, making it easier to move from car to car. The print we received (purple with polka dots) is adorable. br>I was worried that the fact that it only had three recline levels and only one that could be used rear facing would bother me, but it doesn't; it fits perfectly in my husband's four-door Tacoma. br>It's so simple to use the harness adjuster. Overall, this is a fantastic seat.

The marathon is essentially the same as the previous one
4/5

This is the fourth Britax car seat we've purchased. Two older Marathons from 2014 and 2016 are available for viewing. This car seat has all of the same features as the others, with the exception of the new click-and-go system. a well-oiled machine I'm used to installing them the old way, so I didn't think spending a lot more was justified. These car seats are built to last. They are extremely heavy. They are, however, simple to install with either a rear or front latch. forward facing or backward facing It's difficult to close the seatbelt's built-in lockoff, which is a common issue with Britax car seats in general. even the one I own as a baby. This is not a good option for a baby under 22 pounds. If they weigh less than 22 pounds, you must use the positioning pillow that is provided for them to sit on. The issue is that it raises them, and the crotch strap isn't long enough to accommodate it. As a result, the straps are too tight. With my ten-month-old, I gave it a shot. It "might" work on a smaller baby, but as a mother of four, I'd recommend investing in an infant car seat instead. You'll use it for a year, and this car seat will keep them safe until it's time to replace it. When I don't use the positioning pillow with children, I don't have any fit issues. The age is six. It has a small back-end. It is usually not necessary to push the seat in front of it forward because it is facing forward. They're a pain to clean, I'll admit. The pad must be hand-washed, and the entire unit must be dismantled, which is a nightmare every time a child pees in it. Or vomit. etc. . Carseats, on the other hand, are notorious for this. I obviously liked this seat because I kept buying it, so it's a good seat overall.

Sides that are wide and tall! These have a lot more height to them than I expected! The seat and butt cushion appear to be made of a soft material
5/5

The plastic liners on the straps keep them from getting tangled or messed up, which I appreciate. Our purchase has been a pleasant experience for us.

This car seat is a personal favorite of ours
5/5

This car seat is a personal favorite of ours. It's roomy but safe, and as the child grows older and taller, she'll be able to see more out the window because this one sits higher than the previous one, removing the fear of being in the car seat facing backwards, which can be exhausting on long commutes. All of the whimpering ceases to exist. It is critical to conduct research while the children are still young. We would not have purchased a regular car seat before purchasing a convertible like this one if we had done our research. Bullet-proof vests should be given out. At the hospital, hand out point sheets to new mothers.

Excellent Seat, Reasonably Priced, and Simple to Set Up
5/5

This car seat is one of my favorites. It arrived promptly, which was great because I needed a car seat right away. The instructions in the manual were clear and concise, and installing it via seat belt in the middle seat of my Nissan Altima, which isn't very car seat friendly, was a breeze. I've tried a lot of car seats, and none of them have ever been able to secure themselves in the middle, so that's a big plus for me. The seat isn't so heavy that I won't be able to transfer it to my stepmom's car when she babysits, and the simple installation allows for a quick transition. My son appears to be at ease in the seat and isn't as fussy as he was in his infant seat from another brand. It's also not too bulky. Sure, there's enough room on either side of him for two adults, but I haven't tried other car seats in this configuration. I'm pretty sure I could fit this and another seat on both outboard seats, with enough room in the middle for a small adult if necessary. I didn't have to move either front seat forward to make room for this car seat, which is a plus, and I don't believe the outboard seats have lost any cargo space. The headrest and harness are both easily adjustable, and when my son spit up on his first ride in the seat, I was able to wipe the straps clean with mild soap and water. My only gripe is that Britax does not offer a back seat seat protector that covers the entire back seat rather than just under the car seat, but this is a minor quibble.

Updated version of Defected
4/5

The chair I received arrived in a battered box a day late. There are discolorations on the sides (as seen above), as well as suspicious grey padding on the back that has peeled. After several failed attempts to recline the chair, I noticed a flaw beneath the base (as shown in the side-by-side comparison above). I'm going to return it and get a new one. *will update later
br>*Update
My granddaughter is in love with the chair. My new chair arrived discolored and peeling in the same way (I'm guessing this is how the chair is made). The padding is soft and pleasant to the touch. If you're going to pair it with another car seat, I recommend taking into account the chair's dimensions. I have a midsize car, and getting to the buckle to fasten my booster seat is a pain.
