These are for my new car, which I recently purchased. My friend had some, and I used them the entire summer as a passenger in her car. My husband is extremely sun sensitive, and I'm always afraid of how irritated he'll become if the sun hits him on the passenger side of the car while I'm driving; he's basically a vampire. Haha. "These are dumb," he said at first, "and I'll never use them," but after a particularly long drive on a sunny day, he changed his mind. He accepted Christ as his Savior. Between the seat and the console, we store them. I'm aware that they fold or close, but we simply leave them open. When they're folded up, they get a lot of wrinkles. In the end, it was a wise investment.
I'm a truck driver, and I use these to keep the sun out of my window so my arm doesn't get burned while driving. When it's warm outside, it sticks really well, but when it's cold, it won't stick at all. However, it has prevented me from getting a sunburn this summer, and I would highly recommend it.
My jeep already had window tint, but it wasn't dark enough to keep the sun out of my kids' eyes. These fit perfectly in my and my husband's cars as a quick way to block out the sun on bright days, but they aren't so dark that she can't see out the windows.
In the summer, this helps to keep my car cool. My hands do not get burned on the steering wheel, and my air conditioner cools my car's interior much faster and reduces the amount of harsh sunlight. I didn't have to remove these at night because they were lighter than other window shades and allowed me to see through them. The static cling is extremely durable and does not come off. I'm quite taken aback by what I've seen so far.
The early morning or late evening sun can be blinding when driving through traffic jams with construction and detours. I needed something to block the sun while not interfering with mirrors or causing blind spots. I didn't want suction cups that were prone to failure. The solution is these shades. They're in both of our vehicles. It is simple to put on and remove. They're also sticky, and you can see right through them. My wife has no trouble twisting them into storage. I was pleasantly surprised by how well they functioned and would strongly recommend them.
They're a little unattractive on my car, but they do the job. I'm not sure how to remove the kink in the bottom from where they were folded in the packaging, but my baby doesn't seem to mind. I couldn't find anything that would fit the tiny windows on my Chevy Spark, but these worked perfectly.
There is a clear plastic static cling layer and a black netting layer, so it's a decent product. It provides just enough shade to take the sting out of the sun for the user. My main skepticism was that it clings to you. br>br>Decent product for the price; however, I believe it could be upgraded to a full 5 star product if the cling layer was made of a smokey or tinted plastic rather than clear.
I use them to keep the sun out of my baby's eyes on the back windows of our Dodge caravan. I had hoped for them to be larger, but that was due to my failure to measure. I had a hard time getting the second one to cling to the window because the first one stuck so well. Is it effective?.
