Questions & Answers

Is this going to fit a 2010 Ford Escape's back window?

It appears to be the case. My 2014 Escape is a good fit.

Is this compatible with the Lexus ES300?

I'm not sure; I drive a sport utility vehicle.

Is it possible to avoid the suction cups entirely by using the hooks?

I returned mine because I found the hooks to be difficult to use, and I didn't think they were sturdy enough, and I had trouble putting the shade up. However, I enjoyed the characters and the concept. For some reason, it didn't appeal to me.

Is it possible to use the hooks and roll up your windows at the same time?

To roll up or down your window, you must first roll them up.

It's simple to set up and use, and it works well
4/5

It is a good deal. Installing these is a breeze. The suction cups (which are removable) or clips over the window can be used to hang it. When I tried both at the same time, the cups extended too far and got caught in the window when I rolled it up. If you go with the cups, they appear to be very "sucky" and powerful on their own. My car windows curve at the top, so the roll bends slightly when the window is all the way up, but the clips work well and I haven't had any problems with them. But it doesn't seem to matter, because the shade continues to easily retract and retract. For the record, I own a 2012 Honda Accord 4 door and purchased the wide backseat shades. They fit with maybe an inch of extra room on each side, and the cartoon designs are unappealing to me.

Do not make a purchase
3/5

Don't waste your time with these; I bought them in the hopes that the numerous negative reviews were due to chance, as they are the only pull-tabs on the market. I liked the animals and found down shades of their size that I had found. Unfortunately, the first time I used it, one of the shades broke. Randomly. Without the need to be touched I installed them according to the instructions, handled them carefully, and went for a drive when the top piece that houses the roller part suddenly shattered into pieces on the way home. The suction cups were fine, we hadn't hit a pothole, and I hadn't even used the roll-up door. up function has not yet been implemented. I returned it because it was irreparable, and because it was free with Prime, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and re-ordered. order. The following set lasted about a week before repeating the process. I returned those and settled for a different brand; don't worry, the reviews are all true. Dreambaby needs to put more money into their product quality.

These help to reduce the amount of light that enters the room
3/5

These help to reduce the amount of light that enters the room. This car window shade, like all the others we've tried, has a few flaws: 1) it arrived in pieces, and my wife spent about 30 minutes putting it back together; 2) it came in pieces, and my wife spent about 30 minutes putting it back together; and 3) it came in pieces, and my wife spent about 30 minutes putting it back However, it was reassembled and functioned correctly. 2) It's not big enough for the window, so we had to make another window shade to compensate; 3) the suction cups keep falling off despite cleaning them and the window, and even wetting the cups first; overall, it blocks some but not all of the light. We're still looking for one that will block the window, won't fall off, and won't require an engineering degree to reassemble.

Not bad
4/5

These were one of the few shades I could find at a reasonable price that were wide enough to cover the majority of the window on my Honda Pilot. My son messes with his on a regular basis, so it's not in great shape, but it still works. Because my daughter is unable to reach hers, it is faring much better. We removed the top suction cups and used the tabs to secure them to the window, so if you forget and roll the window down, it may become stuck in the door, requiring repair.

Hooks are poorly designed and manufactured, and they are prone to breaking! This was the only product I could find that was big enough for my SUV
3/5

Because the hook was too difficult to place over my window, I used just the suction cups and the top and bottom for the first month. Then, while driving, my toddler began to fiddle with the bottom suction cup, so I removed it. I packed the roller shades for the minivan rental car because we recently went on a road trip. We couldn't find the suction cups for the top, so we used the hooks to hang it from the window instead. When we rolled up the window, the hooks snapped! I'm not sure why these hooks are so flimsy that they can't stand up to a window rolling up. Isn't that what a car window roller shade is supposed to do?.

Wide enough for an SUV, and everything works as it should
4/5

I couldn't find a wide shade I liked in stores, so I went with these. The cost was not excessive. I didn't care for the clingy, stretchy material. because taking them off and putting them back on would be difficult for the kids These are fantastic! br>br> I have a Lexus RX (SUV) and needed a vehicle that could accommodate it. These do exactly what they say they're going to do. They're large enough to accommodate the up-and-down portion of the window. This does not, however, cover the slanted portion of the window, but I suppose that isn't a fair statement to make because a pull-down shade is a pull-down shade. That would be too much for the down shade to handle. br>br>I also like that the kiddos can easily roll up their shades with the push of a button (on the side at the top of the roller storage part). Actually, only one child can reach the button because it is on the same end for both shades, and the child furthest away from that end is unable to reach it. The driver, on the other hand, can raise the shade if necessary for the child. br>br>I've had these for a few months and haven't had any suction issues yet. There are hooks that can be attached to the window, but I haven't tried them because I'm afraid they'll prevent the window from fully closing. Clipping them on the window doesn't appear to be easy. br>br>Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others!.

The sun, glare, and heat of Arizona have all been approved
5/5

They're fine, and I like how they're larger than the other ones I tried. My car is a small Ford Fiesta, but the windows are elongated, and the others I tried were too small. We live in Arizona, so we need all of the sun protection we can get; the heat, glare, and sun are no laughing matter here. These shades do the job, and I got them for a very low price from an Amazon warehouse because they were in an open package but were brand new.

Even though it's only a sliver, I'm pleased with the shade coverage
4/5

These are used in the back seat of my Chevy Traverse for our 9-month-old son. They're a good size, but they don't quite cover the entire window. I like the shade coverage because only a small sliver (an inch or two) of light gets through on each side; however, the suction cup stopped working after only a few weeks, which is a bummer. I finally settled on a velcro stick. Just to make sure it stayed down, I turned it on. Hopefully, when it's time to take it out, it won't have harmed the door's interior. I'll take a chance because I know it will protect my son from the sun.
