Seatbelts should be retracted with the help of passengers. It's preferable to just having a shoulder strap. Because she was too lazy to get a tissue from the backseat, my 10-year-old daughter dabbed her nose on it. So I gave it five stars for comfort because it was soft enough to wipe a small child's nose with. it appears Because my wife doesn't pay enough attention to the fact that this device prevents the seatbelt from retracting when she depresses the release button on the safety belt, she will drop the buckle/seatbelt outside the frame of the car door or conveniently in the door jamb where she will then violently slam the passenger side door of my Wrangler and cause such a loud crunch you'd think it was a thun, I'll probably move these to the lap belt portion. or at least that's how I'm feeling in my body as I try to keep my emotions in check and carefully filter my words. Anyway, I need a seatbelt pad that is both safe and comfortable for my daughter in the front seat, as well as technologically advanced enough to slide to a neutral position when my wife can't take two seconds to consciously respect my vehicle.
Everything they come into contact with (black fleece leaves) gets dirty on these pads. br>I expected it to stop after a few days of use, but no, they continue to dirty my shirts!.
These were purchased because a few of my favorite work shirts are made of a silky material that was pilling diagonally across the area where my seatbelt is located. I adore the shirts and intend to wear and replace them indefinitely (or at least until they are no longer available). Two of these sleeves were installed backwards (with the velcro facing out) to cover the entire area where the seatbelt rubbed against my shirt, and it worked perfectly!.
The Velcro has a good grip and won't stick to your clothes. It has a very relaxing effect. There will be no more red marks left on your skin from the seatbelt digging into it.
I was disappointed to discover that they had rubbed off on my clothing as well as the seatbelt. To avoid getting even more fuzz on my clothes, I had to clean off the seatbelt after removing them. Definitely a poor selection of material. I would not recommend this product.

They're the perfect thickness - br>br> They're thick enough to do the job, but they don't get in the way like some of the other poof balls on the market; in fact, I hardly notice them. They also have a sophisticated appearance to them. br>br>The material is a soft velour that prevents chaffing or cutting in from the seat belt; previously, I had a faux sheep wool cover that became stiff and scratchy over time, so I wanted to avoid that type of material in the future and am happy with this velour. I bought them in black and have worn them with clothes of various materials and colors, including white, with no color rubbing off or lint or fuzz shedding. br>br>I was able to put mine on while waiting at a red light because the installation was so simple. The faux sheepskin one I had would regularly rotate around the seat belt and invariably stop, rubbing the edge of the velcro against my neck, so not only was I constantly adjusting it's height due to migration, but I was also turning it around over the seat belt. This cover is not only a major improvement, but it is the best one I have used. br>br>Finally, I'd like to say. . . Don't believe the people who say the seat belt won't retract properly when the cover is on. This is not due to a flaw in the design of this or any other cover, but rather to a flaw in the seat belt itself, so these complaints should be directed to the vehicle manufacturers. Furthermore, having to pull the cover down when exiting the vehicle is a small price to pay for all of the benefits.
The seatbelt pads are fantastic. They appear to be very nice, as well as soft and comfortable to wear. They're also incredibly simple to set up. Friends have been complimenting me a lot. They also help to keep my belt clean. Because of my workout sweats, the seatbelt in my old car became filthy. Yikes! Now that I have this protection, I won't have to worry about my belt looking as bad.
The goal must be met. It's all right. Made for a very low price. The stitching is sloppy, and the material's inside edges are frayed. I'm not sure how well they'll hold up to washing; they appear to fray and come apart, and they're light but soft. Other reviews have complained about having to retract the seat belt; simply slide the wrap down before releasing the belt and then back up when fastening the belt; it's not rocket science and only takes a few seconds. Unless you do some wild seat dancing [which is probably not a good idea while driving anyway], the wrap will stay in place on your shoulder. Overall, for the price, it's a decent product.
