It can be used in car seats as well as with the rock and play! This is ideal for preventing the baby's head from rolling around. It's well-made and cleans up beautifully.
I've never heard of the Mamaroo newborn insert, but we used ours all the time. Stroller, bouncer, swing, and the floor are all items that can be found in a car. It's simple to transfer from one unit to the next and it works perfectly. It is something I strongly suggest.
Hello there, Sara S. I'm Boppy, and I'm here to help. A soft cotton blend is used to make our Noggin Nest.
Most likely - However, I would not advise it. My 4. It's a little too big for a 5-month-old. In addition, I believe it is most effective for preventing flat spots in newborns - I'm not sure how much it will help a six-month-old because they can move around so much more. However, it was perfect for my newborn.

This photo speaks for itself; I used this pillow o2n in conjunction with another pillow, but the boppy noggin was the main focus. These are one-month-old results, and I'm very happy with them!.
This, as well as the baby pod pillow, were purchased to help with a flat spot caused by sleeping in the rock n play. The baby pod is twice as expensive as this one. If your baby is laying flat, this is the only way to use it. All of my baby gear, including the stroller, swing, car seat, and bouncer, works with the boppy noggin nest. My baby is in the 99% percent20for head size ( he has a large head) and this fits fine for him, it is not tiny. We've only been using it for a few weeks, but we've already noticed a difference. This one seems to be uninteresting to the baby as well. I wish I had bought one of these sooner. br>br>I'm also relieved to report that we can now use a rock n play without fear of flat spots because this fits perfectly in there. I'm so glad we can still use the rock n play despite the hard plastic that flattens babies' heads because it's been a lifesaver for getting a fussy baby to sleep and nap.
4 months. Aside from that, everything has gone swimmingly. My son is undergoing physical therapy to treat a tight neck and a slight flat spot on his back. The therapist thought it was extremely helpful and inquired as to where we got it. Whether your child has a flat spot or not, mamas, this is a must-have item.
I would buy it again in general. I strongly advise you to buy this before your baby is born, as I needed it when he was 3 months old. PROS: br>br> br>easy to wash (place in lingerie/mesh bag to prevent velcro from attaching to other clothing)br>easy to remove from carseat with velcro attachmentbr>firm head support, not floppybr>relieves pressure from central area of baby's head (see con below)br>br>CONS: br>I looked on Amazon to see if the holes in these pillows were standard size, and I believe they are, but my con is that my baby's head is larger (also consider: Although the pillow DID relieve pressure from the center of his head, his flat spot was very wide, and I wish the hole in the pillow was a couple centimeters wider. I purchased when he was 3 months old, which is when we noticed he was getting flat), and although the pillow DID relieve pressure from the center of his head, his flat spot was very wide. Is it possible that the company will release a larger size for older babies? Thank you a lot! br>br> Wishing you and your baby(ies) all the best! br>br>To sum it up, I continue to recommend this product.
I bought this product after doing a lot of research with little hope that it would help, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much it had helped after only a month of use! br>br>I would strongly advise on-line shoppers to purchase this product. the- Parents, you are amazing. It doesn't make it any worse and gives you more peace of mind, at the very least.
I bought this item because I was concerned that my son was developing a flat spot on the side of his head as a result of his habit of turning his head to one side while sleeping. This appeared to be something that could help, but I don't believe it was very effective. My son slept in a Rock N Play for the first few months of his life, and this fit right in, but he would wiggle down and his head would no longer be in the proper position, requiring me to constantly pull him back up throughout the night. Even when I put the headrest in the position where I thought it would keep him from moving, his head still popped out. As a result, I had to return it. It would be ideal if the pillow and head could be kept in the same position. While using this, he also appeared to be tilting his head forward (chin to chest). I was concerned that he might have difficulty breathing in this position. Because we have an Owlet, I knew that if there were any problems, the monitor would alert us, which it never did. So that's a plus! Unfortunately, we were unable to use it because it required constant adjustment. Thankfully, his head has returned to its normal shape after several months. So, it turns out, we didn't really need it.
Okay, first and foremost, let me state that I am a real person and that this is a genuine review. I read other people's reviews about this product and decided to give it a try because it was less expensive than getting helmets for my twins. So here's the deal: one twin had a flat spot on the side of his head that wasn't too bad, while the other had a flat head in the back that was a little more concerning. I bought these pillows, and the flat spot on the side was gone in two days, no joke. We used it in the bed, the bouncer, and whenever they were lying down. The other twin will take a little longer to round out, but his backwards flat head had greatly improved! Helmets cost $2,000 each, so do yourself a favor and get this and give it a shot. After all, what do you have to lose if it doesn't work out? It's a step up from 2k! We ended up purchasing two more of these because we were so pleased with them.
She's now 12 weeks old, and in just a few days of using it, I've seen a significant improvement in her flat spot. I only use it at night, though I could use it all day if I wanted to. This pillow is something I would recommend to anyone who has a baby!.
