This is not something I would use in a car seat. Because of the amount of padding, it pinched his neck forward for one day in my son's swing. It isn't the most secure option.

The bob jogger stroller is ideal for this item.
On my BOB Doullie stroller, I use it. When he falls asleep, it keeps his head in the middle of the bed, away from the frame. I can't comment on the quality or durability because I just bought it.
I purchased this because my LO must sleep in a swing due to severe reflux, and I was concerned that he would develop a flat head. As a result, his neck is pressed against his chest, making breathing difficult. Because of this, I had to return it.
The flat spot was gone after about 2 weeks of use, and he now has a round head again. When we go for walks, we still put it in his swing and in the stroller. He doesn't have to be in his car seat because his head is stable in the stroller.
Not suitable for use in automobiles!.
My infant despised our old car seat insert and cried nonstop while in it. He no longer cries after replacing it with this! He appears to be very comfortable in it, and unlike our previous one, it does not cause him to sweat.
Because it was made up of two pieces, it was prone to catiwompus and had to be adjusted on a regular basis. It's not a good environment for a baby to be in.
Baby had tendonitis in her neck at birth, and this support device greatly aided in straightening out her neck muscles. br>br>The only drawback is that the neck restraints are held in place by velcro, which is extremely cheap and does not work, so I had to sew it in place.
