He was going to drown in the car seat, and his neck appeared to be broken. I was afraid he'd spit up and choke because his head was always propped forward. His car seat was a perfect fit for the cushion. He appears to be very relaxed and at ease. The body support pillow does not have a head piece attached to it. It comes in two pieces, which is convenient because the head piece bends his neck too far forward, so I use the body pillow instead. I really like this product, and I'm glad I bought it. I'll recommend it to others.
car seat is lowered My LO is petite and tall, and she began complaining about the discomfort of her car seat, which had only blankets for support on the bottom and traditional head bumpers on top, so I purchased this. Our car rides are no longer a source of complaint for her. I wasn't sure what to do with the extra padded part on the head piece at first, but if you simply twist it to the back side (as shown in the photo), it stays in place and protects the entire side while also providing a nice pillow for her to rest her head on while sleeping. We live in Florida, so it needs to be breathable, and it appears to be. It was a pleasure to purchase it.
My daughter couldn't use it as an extra neck support because the neck support didn't work well and the whole thing was too poofy. I didn't use it and returned it for the same reason I don't put my child in a car seat with a heavy coat.
And it provides the ideal cushion for a 0-degree angle. I don't mind having her in her car seat at 6 months old, but I think she likes to see a lot, so I put her in her stroller, which supports her little body perfectly and keeps her from swimming in it.

After doing some research, I came across this product, which was massive when I received it and was so bulky after installation that my son could barely fit in it!
