Yes, the safety buckle can be used without a child car seat.br>br>Dear customer,br>br>
Yes, it fulfills that requirement perfectly.
Yes. My son and daughter couldn't get theirs unbuckled. It simply rests on top of the buckle, and as long as the seatbelt is buckled, you should be fine.
Dear customer, the Safety Buckle Pro lit only works with a standard car seat belt, not the 5 star harness seat belt.

When my autistic child becomes frustrated for whatever reason while we are in the car, he removes his seatbelt and attacks me while I am driving on the highway. He was upset today after school and threw a huge tantrum in the car, but he couldn't get out of his seat or remove his seatbelt because he was wearing the Safety Bucket. Despite his best efforts, he was unable to complete the task. I'm in love with this buckle and can't believe I've never heard of it before. My child has assaulted me numerous times in the car, but now I am confident that we are all safe when I am driving. It comes highly recommended by our ABA therapist.
The product is well-designed and suitable for the majority of children. My 17-year-old daughter (5' tall, 95 pounds) was able to break it and unbuckle her seatbelt, potentially putting her in danger on the highway. Smaller and younger children, on the other hand, are unlikely to be able to break this product. It's worth noting that after hearing about my negative experience with their product, the manufacturer promptly refunded my purchase.
This product is for you if you have a child who doesn't understand why not wearing a seat belt is dangerous but enjoys watching your reaction when they do it while you're driving. br>br>It became impossible for me to drive my son anywhere by myself once he realized he'd get a reaction from me if he unlatched his seat belt while I was driving. I had to have someone in the car with him at all times. Fortunately, I came across this product, which completely transformed our lives (at least our driving lives). We don't have any problems in the car anymore now that he realizes he can't undo the seat belt. He no longer resists getting into the car, owing to the fact that it is a far more pleasurable experience. I was tense with worry, wondering if he was going to undo his seat belt, and I'm sure he sensed it (parents of special needs children know how sensitive their children are to our emotions). br>br>It's such a simple device, but it's such a big help!.
year- Houdini had his seatbelt fastened! If you use this, the only thing I recommend is that you don't let your child wear sunglasses. Mine figured out how to unbuckle it with his, so he won't be wearing sunglasses in the car anymore!.
My son is SN and enjoys unbuckling his seatbelt, so I needed to come up with a solution. This product was discovered and it is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It does the trick; simply place it on top of the click button and unbuckle with a key. (At first, I thought having to get the key to unlock would be inconvenient, but the movement is only 3 seconds): ) Thank you so much for selling such a fantastic product!!.
This set was purchased to prevent a rear adult passenger from unbuckling the child car seat, as well as to use the locking clip on a car seat that does not have a built-in lock. off. I figured it would be less difficult than traditional metal locks (such as the Diono Superlock). The buckle cover does its job, but it's a little loose, making it difficult to use with a seat belt locking clip that actually works. Because the locking clip included in this kit is completely useless, I say it should do its job. You have to fidget it into alignment even if there is nothing between the two arms to close the little plastic latch at the end. It's virtually impossible to a) close the arms tight and b) close the clip if there's any kind of fabric in between the arms (which is the WHOLE POINT). In retrospect, I'm not sure if this clumsy plastic locking clip is safe to use with a child seat in a vehicle, so it's probably for the best that I had to resort to the metal locking clips.
This will be ideal for my Down Syndrome daughter to use. She's safely ensconced in her seat, and her brother on the other side of the seat has a harder time terrorizing her. (Lol). I'm more relaxed because she doesn't get out of her seat and bounce around in the back seat while I'm driving. She no longer peers over my shoulder and peers out my window as I place my order and pay at the drive-through. (Yikes! I turn away from her so she doesn't see how I "unlock" it. She isn't thrilled to be in the car, but she is safe at least. br>br>Just to let you know, I own a 2016 Honda CR-V. It doesn't line up perfectly and is difficult to put together. I didn't want to send it back because it appears to be well made, so I put it on the "male" end, clipped it, and wiggled it around until it clicked. br>br>If it had fit better, I would have given it five stars. It continues to function properly.
