I would recommend it for a toddler car seat as it is too large for a baby car In the following picture, one can see a comparison between Britax infant car seats.
The new one we got him replaced it with, but he can't unbuckle it even after several months.
Just like the original clip for my daughter's car seat, this clip is very durable. After my dog chewed on the original clip, I had to get a replacement and I was worried it wouldn't be as safe as the original. Although I thought this clip was thin, I was absolutely wrong, as it is thick and fastens just as well as the original clip from Graco. It gives me great comfort that if there were ever an accident, my child would be protected.
Despite its plastic construction, this harness clip is not at all flimsy. There is a thin strip between it and the original harness clip, but it's still fine. The belt provided in the kit is compatible with the Graco car seat. The installation was very simple and I had no issues.
This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars I was quite surprised how long it was. I couldn't get my newborn in the clip because it was so wide. I know, but! In my opinion, the most important part is that it is sturdy and it makes me feel safe knowing my daughter is securely buckled in.
It is a great thing for kids who somehow manage to get out of their shoulder harness constantly. Installing the straps is only a minor inconvenience, because you need to remove half of the strap or cut out a small section for the original shoulder straps to fit.
The product is a replacement for a broken Britax one and it seems to be sturdier than the original one and was simple.
The clip itself is well made, easy to install, but it is wider than a standard chest clip, as others have said. I'm going to have to give him a bigger crib and do it myself My eight-month-old is even bigger than me.
