I've tried it with the graco pen, but it didn't work

As far as I know, you can't wash it in a machine, but I think you can wash it in the tub and dry it in the sun if you need The only catch is that it comes with an awesome protective cover. The pad was easy to put on and take off, and it handled chunky puke from my kid without leaving any stains on You can machine wash that part, as it is zippered.
The answer is yes! It's possible to take off the cover and wash it, or you could even layer the second cover over.

In the Graco pack n plays I was using since the twins were about 4 months old, they both slept in them every night. The twins usually wake up at least twice at different times from one another (carrying twins isn't the best for a comfortable nights rest). It takes me quite a while to get a full night's rest. It is the first time that I have slept on this mattress for a full night. These two have been sleeping on it for the last two nights. Now that the girls are sleeping through the night, we can finally call it a day. *Enjoyed the mattress because it was perfect for my Graco pack n plays of two different types. Fitted sheets are perfectly sufficient for me as I did not need to purchase separate pack n play fitted sheets. A baby can sleep comfortably on the foam mattress since it is firm but has a good amount of softness. As of yet, I am unable to comment on the waterproof cover, but I will be sure to post an update when it becomes available. In my opinion, I would recommend that you update *Remove the mattress cover and wash it. Their stains derived from many spills and oops were visible before they were washed! I was able to remove the mattress cover and the foam underneath was free of spots. There is some kind of material between the cover and the lining, but it isn't like the noise-making plastic or rubber When the shirt is removed from the dryer, it is once again spotless/like new and ready for toddler war. It is definitely something I would recommend time and time.
My expectation was to get a thin piece of foam covered with plastic to help with the hardness, but instead I received a wonderful little mattress that fit perfectly in my pack and play with a beautiful zippered cover, which will make it more comfortable for my baby. Several years ago, a friend lent me a pack n play she had had for a very long time.
