What do you mean by the original base that it came with? Having the new mattress placed on top of the existing base is a good idea. In terms of stability, I'm not certain if you remove the base if you just have the mattress in the pack n play.

You might be able to wrap the mattress up in a couple of xl garbage bags even though I am not sure if there is one made specifically for this brand

As opposed to regular crib sheets, this one is a bit big. In addition, you may also consider "play yard mattress sheets" since they work well.

I was fine with the bassinet portion of the playard when my son was under 15 pounds and the standard mattress that came with it. But once our baby could stand or move around, the flimsy board bent and slid, and it was uncomfortable and unsafe for him. It's possible that this mattress saved the day (or night? Considering how much better the whole PnP system has become, I can honestly say this was one of my top 10 baby purchases. Even though it seems expensive, I am convinced that it is exactly what I would want for an over-6-month-old baby. This is exactly the type of waterproof cover they should make all the time. I would buy a Queen size.

Pack n play mattress that is perfect for children

It is recommended you wash the cover with cold water and mild detergent as soon as you get it, and air dry it afterward. Despite the fact that foam mattresses are machine washable, they should be treated with care. We are very happy with the mattress for our Graco Pack N Playard. It fits snugly on top and bottom, and is safe and comfortable for our 7 week-old. The flat mattress pad under our pack n play was bunching up and making a raised bump in the center, which felt very uncomfortable to us. I was having trouble finding this mattress when I began looking for a replacement, so I purchased a different mattress The pad was too small, allowing gaps on either side of the pad, which made it seem To date, I am very happy with the product. There was no difference in comfort for me on either side, so I am not sure how it is for toddlers on the other side. Unlike the board mattress that comes with the pack n play, the mattress in the pack n play is very firm. I really like this purchase!.

Finding a mattress that fits as well as a mattress that is a foam mattress, not cheaply made, has proven difficult. However, despite my best intentions I ended up buying a different brand initially, which was less expensive and so cheap, and the mattress and attached cover were "crunchy. ". Therefore, the mattress size is also the same as the pack n play mat size. fits in the top, but it's too thick to fit in the top, so I put it on the bottom instead. It has a gap on both ends at the bottom. The rest of this is just what I needed and is absolutely perfect. With a removable cover that is waterproof on one side and an infant and toddler side, the bag has two sizes. *The mattress does take more than a few days to fully inflate. I would recommend the price if you are willing to wait. According to the package, it takes 48 hours for it to fully expand.

I bought a matrasses for my grace pack and play and it fit perfectly

I opened it for an hour and it grew to its full size. The matress made a great difference in my 6 month old son, who went from waking up every couple of hours to sleeping six hours straight after installing it. With the infant side it is soft enough for comfort but I feel that it gives just a little for support. I am very happy with the quality of this mattress.

I have a crib for my 5 month old, but I tend to keep him close to me at night since he is too big for the bassinet. When I put him in the pack and play, I could feel the board right under the mattress because it is so hard. Probably will fit better on the lower part. I used the fitted playard sheet from American Baby and it fit perfectly. It is nice that you can order a firm side for infants and then flip it over when they're old enough for a softer side.
