Skip Hop Baby Play Gym, Silver Lining Cloud, Grey

I fished a raindrop from my baby daughter's mouth last night. I was fortunate enough to notice her amusing expression before she swallowed it. So scary. While she was playing with the toy, a raindrop detached from the cloud, and she popped it into her mouth like a typical baby. To give you a sense of scale, the raindrops are the size of large grapes. br>br>The gym is lovely, and it has served us well up until now. However, I believe it is a potentially dangerous item, and I hope that other parents will read this review. I contacted Skip Hop, and a customer service representative told me that she would forward the information to management and that my item was probably defective. br>br>Update - Skip Hop customer service never contacted me again for any reason. I guess I was expecting a refund or at the very least a message saying "sorry your baby swallowed a choke hazard from the baby toy we sold you," but no such thing happened. Hopefully, the design will be improved. Given what occurred, this was poor customer service.

I like how this gym looks. It isn't distracting and complements our living room nicely. The fact that the mat says "spot clean only" makes me a little sad. really? Because the baby spits up all the time, I'm going to have to take a chance and wash it on delicate as soon as possible. Because the openings in the rings keep slipping down to the bottom, the small toys keep falling off. Except that we have to keep putting them back on, this isn't a big deal. It's been around four months since my baby has used it. During that time, I had to repair the sun's embroidered face because it was unraveling, and the sun recently came off completely because the ribbon holding it frayed and tore, so I'll have to sew a new one on. I was hoping for a little more durability. I'd probably buy it again, though, because I like the large fluffy mat and the overall look, and my son has enjoyed all of the toys.

My child is unaffected if she slams her head down. br>- The design is simple but adorable. It's lovely in both her nursery and my living room.
- The star has flashing lights, while the lamb plays music. My baby prefers to be on her tummy, so I allow her to practice rolling over by giving her back time. She gets easily frustrated, but I've managed to divert her attention with the star and lamb on several occasions. Also included is a rattle, but due to my baby's disability, she won't be able to use it very often.
- It serves a variety of functions. It's currently an activity gym, but it'll be replaced with a simple play mat in the future, and her dangling toys will be replaced with stroller or car seat toys. CONS: br>br>
- It is of excellent quality, but it is pricey. br>- One of the clasps on the dangling toys was bent. REVIEW: br>br> This play mat is stunning, in my opinion. Because it is gender neutral, it would make an excellent baby shower gift. It's of excellent quality, with a variety of textures for the baby to experience. Because it is so plush, my daughter falls asleep on it all of the time. Overall, it's lovely and appears to be long-lasting.

This is a massive mat. Plus, it's adorable! It will blend in with any modern setting without looking like a garish baby toy. Because the cushion is too low for tile floors, I placed a mat underneath it. I added simple links to give the toys more color and versatility. The sun mirror has an odd shape, which is to be expected in a safety mirror. While I clean, the baby plays, naps, and is completely content. It's popular with the cats, too. The support cross is enormous and difficult to transport when dismounted due to its length, but that is to be expected with such a large mat. That makes it difficult to transport if I want to visit friends or go on a trip with it. Because of its size (even I fit under the arc! ), I expect my baby to use this mat until he or she is one year old. ) as well as a wide range of toys. I just wish it was machine washable because it's on the floor, and babies poop, and diapers aren't completely waterproof. That is my only criticism, as I had anticipated the large size.

Finally, a play mat that I'm not required to return. br>br>I wrote my review in the hopes of saving you some time (I wish there had been a review like this when I was researching infant activity mats). br>br>Here's a brief (and, in my opinion, important) introduction: I've already spent too much time looking for a suitable play area for my two-month-old daughter. And, like you, I read reviews and compared it to the plethora of other activity mats on the market. Let me tell you, I wish I had chosen this one first. But I didn't; instead, I read all of the 1 star, 2 star, and 3 star reviews because they point out the problems, as well as some good points, but they're usually pretty cliched. Initially, I thought to myself, "Yeah, those guys are correct. " It's probably too plain and boring for the baby, and it's not particularly appealing. catcher. But if you want to go for a look that matches your living room or bedroom interior, it's a good choice. " So I ordered something completely different, one of the circus-themed ones, for a little less money, but with mostly positive reviews. I'm really looking forward to it. To cut a long story short, I immediately packed it back after opening it and feeling the material of the "circus" mat. I decided to order this puffy cloud despite my disappointment. And, believe it or not, I'm glad I did. So, if you think I'm one of those people who gives 5 stars just because "it looks so cool everywhere in the house, doesn't give me a headache, and doesn't make my eyes bleed kind of story tellers" and that it doesn't matter for the baby, you're wrong. The baby is the most important thing in the world. I bought it for that reason. The QUALITY of this play gym is far more important than its cool appearance. It's well-made and made of soft materials (I can't believe it's not polyester!). ugh), sturdy construction, loops on the archers, and a good selection of toys included. And, as I discovered, a lack of bright colors is far easier to correct than the material on which your precious little one will place his face. Simply add a couple of brightly colored eye-catching toys (which I'm sure you all have), get creative, and mix and match. At the very least, that's what I did, and my baby is content on a puffy cloud rather than a polyester embarrassment. Thank you to whoever created it in this form. And I'm glad I can customize things for my baby because there's no way to make it special with the circus mats; there's just too much going on, too many things to pay attention to, and it's just obnoxious. However, there is this one- Because it provides a good foundation for that, you can make it as unique as you want. Also, it's very soft. I'm not sure I'd be able to squeeze in there.
