It's unquestionably a must-have item for new parents! I'm a mother of three children, and I wish I'd had this mat from the start. I was skeptical that a baby play gym could be worth $140, especially since I believe that almost all other play gyms are grossly overpriced for what they offer, not to mention unattractive. My conception of a play gym was solely based on the current market's offerings, which were all essentially the same. br>br>I am ecstatic to learn that Lovevery's Play Gym is unlike any other in every way. br>br>The first noticeable difference is that this Play Gym's frame is made of solid wood, making it much more durable than any other on the market. It's soft and smooth, with no splinters or sharp edges to worry about. Every detail in this product has been carefully considered, and it shows! br>It can support heavier toys, which a regular mat cannot. When I was pregnant with my second son, my older son would lean against or step on our old mat, collapsing the arms, and my baby would get hit in the face by a heavier hanging toy. This one hasn't given me any problems, and I absolutely adore it! br>While some reviewers have stated that the wooden frame is a disadvantage because it is difficult to collapse, I believe that this is a benefit for the reasons stated above. There's no way it's going to collapse on my baby! br>br>The only slight criticism I have of the frame is that I wish the holes for hanging the toys were higher up the arms, so they would hang over the center of the mat rather than the sides. Still, it makes no difference to me where they are. br>br>Now it's time to get down to business with the mat. The mat has a soft texture that isn't as slick as cheaper mats. My baby can actually get some traction and isn't slipping all over the place and becoming frustrated. This mat also has a good amount of padding! We have wood floors, so I don't have to worry about her hitting her head on the floor while she's still learning to hold her head up and injuring herself. With our previous one, this would have been a major issue. br>I like the mat's neutral tones and how different areas of the mat can be opened and closed to avoid over stimulation and promote focus. br>It's all so lovely; I can leave it out and it won't look like Toys-R-Us. Us puking in my living room, which, in my opinion, complements the decor/furniture. br>br>Probably my favorite part of the whole thing is the little booklet with all the Play ideas in it. It takes all of the guesswork and research out of the equation and presents it in a straightforward manner. You've got the baby, you've got the tools, but how do you help your baby get the most out of playtime? This book will show you how! There's no need to sift through mountains of parenting books and blogs; everything is condensed into a few short paragraphs. br>br>I honestly don't have enough positive things to say about this. My 9-month-old daughter adores the Montessori ball and the high-contrast cards. My five and three-year-old sons beg me to turn it into a tent for them on a daily basis. It's a fantastic toy that your child will enjoy for a long time. I'm excited to see what new things we'll be able to do with it! And, of course, I wanted nothing but the best for my baby! br>br>It arrived, and now that my baby is old enough to try it, it's HUGE and, while the wooden top is lovely, it's HUGE. It's ridiculously bulky and barely fits through a doorway, so easy and quick assembly and disassembly to put away while guests come over, etc. isn't an option (which is crucial when you're short on space in your home!). )br>br>The three items that hang from it are also a disappointment to me. They're in strange places, so if she lays in the middle, she won't see anything! You have to put your child in odd positions and all the way to the ends to see ONE hanging object, which is what makes me dislike it the most, because it isn't doing its job as a baby gym! br>br>Mine also didn't come with one of the rings, which added to my dissatisfaction with this expensive item:.
I placed an order for two playgyms. One is for my child, while the other is for my sister's child. I'm furious because they're not the same, and one isn't as good as the other. One of the playgyms only has two picture cards, and the "learn to focus zone" only has two card slots, compared to eight picture cards and four velcro slots for the "learn to focus zone. " I'm extremely dissatisfied with the situation. When we purchase something, they should inform us that we are not receiving value for our money. When/if I reach an agreement with the seller, I will update my review and make a note.
I listened to all the positive feedback and claims about organic everything. It turns out that these mats are twice the price of other mats and are still made in China. As seen in the illustration.
Our 3- Her morning play sessions on the Lovevery play gym are a hit with her one-month-old. I'm astounded at how focused and attentive she can be while lying on the gym floor. She's only 3 months old and her focus usually shifts from the middle of the mat to the high-end. then to the high-contrast ball (as seen in the image). Compare and contrast cards She's been enjoying the cards with baby face pictures this week. She even coos at a few of them, which is cute. br>br>As her brain develops, I enjoy watching her progress from one area of the gym to the next. As a parent, my favorite feature is the Lovevery instruction manual. It includes a pedagogically sound explanation of what stage our Eva's brain is in, what she can see, hear, and how she reacts, as well as what stage she will be in next. In weekly phases, it tells you what type of stimulus Baby prefers. We have a lot of books that tell us similar things about our baby's development, but as a doer, I appreciate being told what our baby's next growth stage is and which parts of the Lovevery gym to use to get her there. This product is fantastic, and I'm looking forward to my morning gym sessions with Eva for at least the next year.
This is a fantastic activity mat. We have three children and extensive experience with baby equipment. We had one of those ubiquitous mats with lights, music, and bright colors for our first two children, but that is no longer the case. It was fine; the babies seemed to put up with it, but I wouldn't say they particularly enjoyed it. This play mat is straightforward and appealing to the eye. There will be no unnecessary lights or sounds to overstimulate the baby. There are five different sensory experiences to choose from. The hanging toys are at just the right height for baby to kick, bat, and grab at. The interchangeable cards, which include high-resolution images, are particularly appealing to us. Images and mirrors are in opposition to each other. Our little guy, who is almost two months old, loves to play on that mat, but he also enjoys quiet focus time with the cards. You can tell that this design was given a lot of thought. This activity mat, unlike most others, has the potential to be used for a longer period of time. It also has the advantage of being large enough for one or two of your older children to play with the baby on it. The cover that can be used to turn it into a play tent is also a lot of fun. This is one of the best baby products we've ever used. I give it two thumbs up.
