Questions & Answers
The light is suspended from the loops. Firefly, turtle mirror, bear rattle, and musical raccoon are all on the way up.
The ring is made out of solid wood. All Skip Hop products are rigorously tested to ensure that they meet or exceed ASTM, CPSIA, EN71, and other applicable safety regulations. We also use certified third-party labs to confirm our compliance because they have the necessary equipment and expertise to perform all tests in accordance with the prescribed methodologies.
I'm sorry, but I'm not sure if you can buy it separately; however, if you want, you can add another one.
Ours didn't work, either, but there's a button on the backside. To turn it on, press and hold it for a few seconds, then it flashes for as long as it moves. As a result, if baby bumps into it, the light flashes. I hope this information is useful.

The little firefly isn't working, and there's no way to get to the bulb or battery compartment to try to fix it. This is an indication of shoddy design. br>br>The one product review I found on YouTube while looking for information about the firefly appeared to have a defective light as well, so this appears to be a product issue that the company hasn't addressed. br>br>Apart from that, it's a darling little activity mat. br>br>It's a little bulky, and I wish the tent poles could be folded up for storage. There's no way to bend them back to store the activity mat once they've been removed from the package, so it takes up a lot of room.
This is incredibly cute. The teepee and bears are a lot of fun. The raccoon sings Twinkle Twinkle while the firefly toy lights up like a real one. br>br>It's not a question of cuteness; it's a fact. Price, on the other hand, might be an issue. This gym costs only $5 more than the Animal Zoo activity gym we bought, making it comparable to other gyms of this size. My 18-month-old used her gym for about 6 months total, from 2- to 6-months-old. 8 months. We only used it for an hour or two a day, but it was well worth it because there are only so many things you can do with a baby when they're that young! br>Another factor to consider is the likelihood of this collapsing. It was a lot of fun for my 18-month-old to play on it, but he kept knocking it over. You can't pick it up and move it without first straightening it out. The Animal Zoo mat is a lot more stable and easier to move around. br>However, if I didn't have a play mat, neither of those factors would deter me from buying it! br>br>When our 2-month-old tried it out, he seemed interested, and I'm sure he'll have even more fun as he grows!.
Okay, this is very cute, but it's not very practical unless your baby has very long arms. The toys are hung on the sides of the teepee because of how it is built. The one on the left is about 6 inches off the ground, while the one on the right is about 18 inches. However, because they're on the teepee's four corners, they won't be able to reach anything if you put your baby in the middle of the mat! You'll almost certainly have to place them near one of the corner posts, which means they'll only be able to reach one (or possibly two) toys. It'll be more useful once he's older and can move around a little, but I wouldn't recommend it for a small child. (We've been together for four months and we're still staring because we can't reach anything. ).
This is so adorable! I'm confident it's safe for my Grandson, who is almost three months old and appears to enjoy the turtle with the mirror! It's very fashionable and complements his decor perfectly! The only minor criticism I have is that the toys are difficult to reach due to the teepee's shape. This isn't the fault of the manufacturer; rather, it's due to the design's inherent flaws. So, if you want to be fashionable, this is the item for you! If you're more concerned with stimulation and accessibility, you might want to consider a toy that is easier for your baby to reach. br>In any case, you'll get some stimulation from this one, just not as much as with the others. br>Once again, this item has exceeded my expectations! The shipping was quick and everything arrived in good shape. br>I hope this information is useful!.
I like Skip Hop products in general, and this baby play mat was the cutest thing I'd ever seen. The theme and characters are adorable, the toys are entertaining and engaging, and I liked how it was shaped differently than the other play mats. Unfortunately, due to its shape, it is constantly prone to tipping over. My baby's toys topple over on him whenever he rolls over or pulls on them. With the more common play mats, I've never had this problem. Unfortunately, it isn't worth the money I paid for it, so I returned it.
This is a hit with my 5-week-old baby! She enjoys staring at herself in the mirror and at the bear pillow. The crinkle sound of the firefly is also something she enjoys. The firefly didn't work at first, so one star was deducted. I had to go back to Buy Buy Baby and get a new one. That appears to be an ongoing issue that the manufacturer (who was completely unresponsive when contacted) must address.
The rattle teddy bear and the mirror are two of his favorite things. We use the mat for tummy time, and our little one loves laying on top of it, despite the fact that he has no idea what to do with all the stuff on the mat floor. The firefly that everyone complains about didn't work for us. But, honestly, we have so much other stuff to play with that it didn't really matter to us. Also, I really like the mountain backdrop. Purchase was a lot of fun.
This play mat has a great concept. The entire theme of being outside is fantastic. The mat itself is of exceptional quality. My only criticism is that the bear pillow is rather small, perhaps better suited to a newborn. However, because of the amount of space between the two ends, I wouldn't put my baby on it as a newborn because the bear's head would be in my baby's face. Second, while the lightning bug is cute, there is no way to replace the batteries. My son is 5 months old and has only been playing with it for two weeks, and it has already burned out. I'd give this mat five stars if the batteries could be replaced. The teepee is one of my favorites.
