Questions & Answers

I'm curious about the mat's dimensions. ?

The gym is 27" L x 36" W x 18" H when fully assembled.

Is this really that thin? Is it possible to put it on a bed or a couch? Is it possible that we don't have a rug in our home?

It's the perfect size for a bed or even a couple of sofas. When the baby is playing, I currently have it on my bed. This toy is extremely popular with her. Good buy!

I added a piano gym with maracas to my registry from here; it stated that it was temporarily unavailable, but I don't see it anymore; will it be restocked?

It could be restocked or from a different seller, implying that it came from a different store.

The vibrant colors are well worth it
5/5

If you're anything like me, you're on the lookout for neutral baby items that will blend in with the rest of your decor.     I've chosen almost every baby item with care to ensure that it doesn't ruin the decor and that my home isn't completely baby-proof. fied.       Unfortunately, this does not meet those requirements.     I've seen a lot of pictures of people playing with this toy, people requesting it for showers, on Facebook garage sale sites, and so on, and I really tried to avoid buying it because of the colors (which is silly, but I know there are other moms out there who feel the same way!). ) BUT I'm here to tell you that the primary color nightmares are completely worth it.     This will be a hit with your little one.     My son interacts with this play mat far more than he did with my lovely white Skip Hop cloud mat, which I paid twice as much for (and then ended up buying anyway).     The piano is fantastic; he enjoys kicking around on it, and the bright toys fascinate him far more than the white or pastel-colored ones.     I'm not sure how I came to be the person who would allow such a thing in my living room, but here I am, and this mat comes highly recommended.

For my three-month-old, it's a lot of fun!   First and foremost, the base was challenging to put together
4/5

Two of the supposed-to-slide-together pieces took about as much muscle as I have, while the other half slid together perfectly. I'm not sure if it was just a bad batch of pieces. I had to email Fisher Price customer service because I couldn't get them to work together, but I was able to do so in the end. For that, I deducted a star. The music and hanging toys appear to be a big hit with my 3-month-old. Advantages: br>br>
- Toys that are bright and fun to play withbr>- Exceptional musicbr>- It has the ability to grow with your child. The piano has three stages: the first plays music on its own and makes additional piano key music when your baby kicks the keys; the second and third stages play music together. The second stage will tell you which animal is depicted on the key that your baby is kicking. The third stage consists solely of piano chords. Instead of laying down, the piano and mat can be set up so that you can play while sitting up. It is also possible to remove the piano and use it as a small piano toy. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- Mat is a very small person. My three-month-old is quite tall, but I don't think this mat will fit him beyond the age of six months. If you're short on space, this might be someone else's pro.
- br>br>Overall, a fantastic mat. br>br>Assembly wasn't easy. br>br> I spent more money on a mat that appeals to an adult's eye so it doesn't look like "the baby took over the living room," but he doesn't like it because it isn't fun for him. The toys aren't as bright as they should be. He adores this mat and the toys that come with it, and I think it's a great deal! While I was writing this review, he actually dozed off on the mat!.

For our one-month-old baby, it's perfect! We first bought the Lovevery play gym because we liked how developmental it was and how well it was received
5/5

It's still a good play mat, but our baby hasn't shown much interest in it (yet?). This Kick and Play Piano Gym is a third of the price, and our one-month-old has been completely absorbed! He smiles and starts kicking the piano keys (which are simple to press and don't require assistance to produce a sound). In addition, he can easily reach the hanging toys. We came up with a few of our own that make noises - The maracas are not clearly hung, and there is only one that makes a rattle sound. I haven't had to use it yet, but it appears that the mat material is water resistant and wipeable. One more advantage! It's also small and light enough to be carried around the house, but at this price, you could get two and save a lot of money over other play mats. br>We were comparing it to the Baby Einstein piano-key mat - Due to some reviews, I was concerned that the keys on the Einstein mats would be too difficult to push. We are so happy we purchased this mat.

A must-have item for babies
5/5

This is fantastic. I didn't want to overdo it on toys for my little one because they don't require much, but this was a great buy. I started using it when my baby was about 6 weeks old, and he was able to entertain himself for 15 minutes despite the fact that he normally requires a lot of attention! You can easily add different hanging items to ensure your child does not get bored, but the stuff that comes with it is great. I even took it into the bathroom with me so I could shower and he stayed entertained the entire time. I can't speak to the "grow with you" aspects because my son is only 14 weeks old, but I have a feeling this will be fantastic.

Stop adding lyrics and singing to your toys' songs, Fisher-Price! Music is all that matters to the people! My daughters and, for the most part, I enjoy playing the piano
3/5

The one thing I despise, and it's a big one, is that there's only one option that plays nothing but piano notes and small piano tunes. br>br>There are three ways to play it: Listen and play, animals, and piano. br>I use the piano, but I'm disappointed that it only plays two or three runs of music while my baby kicks the notes. It has no variety and does not play any songs while they kick. Listen and Play is the worst, which is a shame because I really wanted to use it as my default setting. The problem is that instead of playing dumbed-down games, people are playing dumbed-down games instead. down classical favorites, the choice is replete with the obnoxious Fisher-Price. Price girl singing cheesy, irritating, and strangely despondent tunes. One in particular sounds as if it was written for a long-dead child, with lyrics like "I wish you were a polka-dot polka-dot polka-dot polka-dot polka-dot pol so that you could return to me on your dot wings " The animals option is just as bad, with the same irritating singer singing about the animals rather than just saying their names. Why? br>br>I personally believe that when plain music would suffice, children's toys do not require a person singing in them, and this is an example of that. As a parent, I refuse to use two of the settings because they irritate me, leaving me with a basic piano toy that I primarily use as a baby gym. It's a pity, but the gym portion is enjoyable - Looking in the mirror and reaching for the crinkly lion are two of my daughters' favorite things to do.
