Baby Einstein 5-in-1 Journey of Discovery Activity Gym and Play Mat, Ages Newborn Plus , 47x40x18 Inch (Pack of 1)

I can't hold my baby all the time she's awake, no matter how much I want to. This gym, as well as a Graco swing with music and nature sounds, were purchased by me. The following are some of the reasons why I enjoyed this gym:
1. The mat's dimensions. It's a significant size. The length of some other play mats was only around 30 inches. I don't want my child to outgrow her gym in a month's time.
2. A world map and colorful characters traveling in various vehicles are featured on the play mat. When my daughter is a little older, we'll use this mat to learn about the continents.
3. Plastic and washable materials are used to make dangling toys. I'd like to be able to clean the toys that my daughter puts in her mouth.
4. A ball pit can be made out of the gym. It's like getting two items for the price of one. When the gym showed up, I was not disappointed. Even without the instructions, it was simple to put together. When all four sides are folded in, it's quite small. Three AAA batteries and a screwdriver were needed for the musical toy. This toy is a tad on the heavy side. I used a hook from another baby product in place of the link that came with it.

Pros - It was a very cute product that was simple to put together. The balls that came with it were a big hit with my toddlers. br>br>To me, this is a huge con. My dogs chewed one of the poles' ends one day, and when I went to clean it up, sharp, clear glass-like hair-like particles lodged in my skin everywhere, causing excruciating pain. Because I couldn't see them, tweezing them or making sure they all came out was a pain. Now, I understand that a baby won't chew a toy apart like a dog, but please, God, don't let the item bulge and tear for some reason. I just think what's inside this item is a little dangerous. I'm still not sure what it was, but it hurt a lot, and I still have cuts all over my body from the tiny glass shards that got stuck.

Every day, my 5-month-old sits, plays with her toys, watches baby cartoons, and lies down to drink her milk. I was initially irritated by this because the mat is so thin; they could have made it at least as thick as the walls. Every time I use it, I have to move my coffee table to make room for it on top of the rug. I don't use the hanging loops because I want to be able to see my baby clearly while I'm doing other things, and they also touch her head. The toys are enjoyable, and I particularly enjoy the giraffe's musical accompaniment. All of the toys, including the balls, fit into the included small bag. I also like that the square shape can be folded away without having to disassemble it. It is something that I strongly suggest.

This is an excellent baby mat as well as a useful tool for mothers. My baby was not interested in it when she was three months old, but now that she is five months old, she enjoys it and can play with it for hours. br>She especially enjoys the musical toy, which I removed and took with me to massage procedures to distract her from crying. Other toys can be used on the mat as well as separately. When she becomes bored, you can also hang other toys. The balls have yet to be used, but they are included as a bonus. br>I only had to cover the mat with a blanket because the fabric caused my daughter to sweat in hot weather.

Edit: The Baby Einstein company was extremely easy to work with when it came to replacing the music box, so I gave it a five-star rating. br>br>Almost a five-star product, save for the fact that the musical bit has stopped producing music and is now producing static. I'm going to have to get out of my can and figure out how to RMA that particular part. br>br>Overall, however, the concept is fantastic, and it keeps our six-year-old entertained. month- old. It folds up quickly and takes up little room in your luggage, making it extremely portable. It's particularly exciting to see my daughter discover that she can make music simply by hitting the music box. I hope the fact that it now only generates digital static isn't too perplexing for her.

I docked one star because I was hoping to use this to teach her about the continents and such, but I don't think I'll be able to do so fully with Japan and most of China missing. Ours also had ticks in the mat (like tiny holes) that I didn't notice until after we recycled the box, so I can't return it. I'm still looking forward to seeing how she develops in this!.

I absolutely adore it. The product appears to be of exceptional quality. It is, in my opinion, the most cost-effective option. My sister-in-law has a $70 one, but I think this one is just as nice, if not better. The mat is well-padded and generously sized, and the toys are adorable. I really like the ball storage bag that comes with it. I spent a long time looking for the right one, and I'm very happy with my choice.

Update: We've had it for a while and it's only been lightly used. On one of the bending poles, it's already ripping. It won't be usable once it's ripped through. Very sad. I'm downgrading to a two-star rating. br>br>I've only recently begun to use it, but I'm already enjoying it. Colorful toys and bright colors. The round mirror is one of my son's favorite things. However, there are a few drawbacks. Two of the toys are made of plastic that is difficult to break. A playmat is not suitable for a baby. There is a chance of a head injury. There isn't a good reason to go anywhere. As a result, when the flexible poles are stored, they require a large amount of space. My daughter's old Baby Einstein playmat came with a travel case when she bought it for cheap. That's what I'd expect from such a high-priced version.
