You need tires with decent tread. Getting by on decent tires was just a matter of adding a few. I was asked where I got them for less than 400 dollars by the shop that installed them. There's truly no place like Amazon! The installation and balancing of this system cost 100 dollars. As far as I know, everything is going well. I got a hood rich with those nu nu tires!
