Tires on worksite were replaced with new OEM With more plies, tread depth, and good traction in muddy conditions, these perform better. The worksite tires instantly changed to racing slicks when the mud started to settle. 2,500 miles is the maximum mileage the OEM tires can last. The rubber on these tires is harder and helps them roll easier and handle better. A bit of hum is audible on pavement, but it is not terribly loud. This vehicle handles better as a whole. 1/3 of my time in horse pastures is spent on asphalt and gravel and the other 1/3 on pavement. In addition to towing 3/4 ton loads, plowing snow and maintaining gravel roads, they can also make, and maintain, ground engaging equipment. A disking of food plots is also done. As well as protecting the tread, the sidewalls are protected by the tread design.
Once you get to the point where you have to power up in order to make it to the top it does dig a bit and the front end bounces a bit, but not in an uncontrollable way, and it doesn't dig down and bury you. It is a strong, well-built tire and I would buy it again if I had to. Remember, I am talking about sand dunes and not river bottom sand I will review these later when I review mud, rivers and rock, but for right now, they are a definite winner in my book and they cost me a few bucks less.
I am very pleased with the purchase. My 2017 Polaris sportsman 570 now has a great look and perform well. I've put on about 100 miles on them so far and they're holding up great. The tread provides excellent traction in mud The following terms mean loose rocks, dirt, and sand. Recommended to anyone who is interested in replacing their factory wheels. The rim was vulnerable to damage with the factory tires, but with the Zion's tread pattern on the sidewall, it is no longer vulnerable. I love the price and the quality of the product!.
These tires are excellent and they cost me about 85 dollars less than a local dealer. I had them mounted by a friend at a local He said no problems were encountered when Good looks and good performance go hand in hand. My expectations are based on the quality and performance of tires, and so far, my expectations have been met. You should take a look at this if you are a serious user of UTVs.
As for road noise, they are much quieter than the stock Carlisle Moreover, my confidence will increase when I tackle the Rocky trails in northern WI, since they are 8 ply compared to the stock tires' 4 ply. We'll see if they clean off well in mud, though the tread is aggressive enough to be able to do it. As far as I can tell, the side tread is going to be useful for ruts and protective for folks with nice wheels (I kept the traditional steel). OK, so far so good. I'd recommend them for the price! My running pressure is 5 psi, and that seems to be the best for stopping the tire during high speed cornering. Maximum is about 15 psi (I think too high for me).
They look and perform great. I've driven on paved roads, in grass and mud, as well as on some sand, and none of those surfaces caused me problem! My old ATV tires vibrated a lot more on paved and gravel roads. These tires work quite well on both surfaces. It is highly recommended that you run these tires. Tires still look good even after being mounted on the machine, but I'll tell you they're much nicer once they're on.
The bead was much easier and more secure than I initially anticipated, about the same as the flimsy 2 ply tires that came on my Don't stress out about it, just use the recessed area of the wheel. It's nice to be able to cross sharp sticks and rocks without fear of a flat tire. I was disappointed that traction on dirt and gravel did not seem to increase as much as I had hoped.
We use them every day. Currently, we've spent more than 100 hours working on them. So far there has been only one nail as a result of the 8 ply. The mud on pavement is smooth and great.
