For the first time, I used these spoons to replace my own dirtbike style tire, "1. "7 tire mounting lube," "baby powder," and a "bead buddy II" "First, learn the process by watching a Dunlop video on YouTube about ten times. After that, take out your valve stem core and get to work. The baby powder protects and lubricates your tube. The tire mounting lube was helpful when mounting but crucial when seating the bead on the tire. A tire stand would be nice if you change tires frequently, but I get about 3000 miles per tire on my dual-wheel drive vehicle. As a result, I will live without a tire stand for the foreseeable future.
I preferred these to my more expensive spoons every time. However, support those who support us by purchasing from your local dealer.
This particular wrench is one of my favorites. I already had one when I placed this order, so I decided to order two more for a total of three. It's a lot easier to change tires when you use three of these and take small bites. I had just finished installing new tires on my bike when these spoons arrived, and I wish I had ordered more sooner. The spoon is thin enough to slip in easily, and the lip bites well without pinching the tube, which I like. Warm tires, a little lube, and a lot of spoons are the keys to quick tire changes in my opinion. Keeping the tire's far end in the rim recess is also important.
This, along with a few other related items, is for my husband, and while he has yet to try them out, I am confident he will be pleased. I know this because he was lamenting the fact that he couldn't find them in any nearby store and couldn't understand why they weren't in stock; He takes pride in his ability to repair things, even if it's as simple as replacing the inner tube in his wheelbarrow.
When I needed to replace a tube in the tire on my Suzuki DRZ, they did an excellent job.
I was able to remove and replace the inner tube on a wheelbarrow tire using this (for the first time). Tool with a lot of power.
This is a high-end tire spoon. I can rely on it to do the job, as I can with most motion pro tools.
