How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

On the Color Monitor, it displays the pressure and temperature.
The Flow-thru Sensor allows you to air up your tires without having to remove it.
Set high and low alert thresholds for each axle.
Monitor the auto-scrolls as they pass through each tire, reporting PSI and temperature.
Metal valve stems must be used with Flow Thru sensors (if you have rubber valve stems, get the TST CAP sensor system).

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use nitrogen with this method?

Nitrogen filled tires are not a problem because the atmosphere is made up of approx 78% nitrogen.

What type of monitor and sensor wiring are required? Thanks?

Except for the power cord into the cigarette lighter, no wiring is required. If you need to install the repeater, you'll need 12v power, but I didn't need one for my 35' 5th wheel.

Is it possible to remove the tires from the monitor if they aren't in use?

Yes, you have the ability to add and remove tires from the monitor as needed.

Selected User Reviews For Truck Systems Technology TST 507 Tire Pressure Monitor w/ 4 Flow-Thru Sensors with Color Display

Without the appropriate warning, this is a HAZARDOUS PRODUCT! BUY THIS PERILOUS PRODUCT AT YOUR OWN RISK! At highway speeds, the tire sensor caused the valve stem to break off, which blew out and ruined the tire, almost causing the truck to lose control! Not to mention the high risk of changing a flat tire on the side of a busy highway
3/5

NOWHERE in the seller's or manufacturer's instructions does it state that you must replace any rubber valve stems with metal valve stems. When informed of the danger posed by this product and the lack of warning, both the seller and the manufacturer DENIED ANY RESPONSIBILITY.

Most of the time, it works perfectly; I recently took a 4000 mile trip and it was wonderful to have a greater sense of security knowing the temperature and pressure of my RV tires
4/5

I awoke to 30 degrees in the Tetons, and tire temperature was 36 degrees and pressure was 54, which was my alarm, so I got to hear the alarm and know it worked until I drove a few miles and the temperature and pressure rose. By pressing a button, I was able to silence the alarm. I have a 5th and 6th sensor on my boat, so I like the feature that the unit figures out they are not in range and stops cycling through trying to display their temperature and pressure, but it takes almost 10 minutes until it finesses it. It takes a little longer than I'd like, but I'm glad it eventually comes to a halt and only cycles through the four RV tires.

There is no help from the seller
3/5

I bought it on 03/19 and liked it, but the usb plug in the monitor was extremely tight when I tried to plug the cable in. The monitor's USB plug recently separated while being plugged in, rendering it useless. I've written to Techno RV three times, and each time they refer me to TST tech support; I spoke with TST, and they promised to send me a return for service form. They claim to have sent it, but I haven't received anything. The unit is unusable, and due to a lack of communication between the seller and the manufacturer, I'm stuck with a defective unit. The unit must be replaced or returned for a refund.

It's great, and I like having the extra security of knowing what's going on with my tires
5/5

This was purchased for our new 2019 Airstream Flying Cloud 28RBQ, which we tow with our 2015 Ram 5. Pickup truck with a 7L 2500 engine. I didn't need or install the repeater because all of the sensors are recognized and read from inside the truck's cab. The suction cup holder to the left of the rearview mirror is where I keep my phone. br>I purchased the 6 sensor pack in order to keep track of my spare, but I have yet to install a sensor on it. br>br>For the record, I bought this before our Airstream arrived and put it to the test on a 2015 Jayco X23b hybrid travel trailer, which I towed behind the same truck with no issues. br>br>Once you've used this product, you won't be able to imagine life without it.

The best tire pressure monitoring system available! I'm not sure why I waited so long to invest in a tire monitoring system, but I'm glad I did
5/5

I'm very happy with the TST Model 507, and I'm glad I bought it. It's a little more expensive than some of the others, but I truly believe it's the best unit available today. This system performs flawlessly on my 44-foot 3-axle toyhauler, exactly as advertised. Just make sure to use the Repeater that comes with the kit, and you'll be able to keep track of your tire pressure and temperature while driving down the highway.

It isn't so simple
5/5

The product was delivered on time and in excellent condition. The first stumbling block was that our valve stems were not long enough, nor did they come through the wheel with enough clearance for the sensors to be attached. So we'll need to get some extensions, which come in a variety of angles, before we can go any further. TST customer service was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process of resolving our issue. Another snafu and out-of-pocket cost. Metal angle extensions aren't cheap, and calculating and judging the required angle, which may not be the same for all wheels, is an ongoing experiment. We'll let you know how the system works once the sensors are installed on our coach. Now is the time. It has not yet been linked. There is still more work to be done.

"FOR USE ON METAL VALVE STEMS," it says on the back of the box
3/5

"FOR USE ON METAL VALVE STEMS," it says on the back of the box. They purposefully left out the word "Only," but it's clear that their goal is to shift liability if you use the flow-chart method. Sensors on your towed vehicles or trailers can help. Because the valve stems on my enclosed car trailer are rubber, I'm not confident that the flow-control system will work. The weight of the through sensors has no bearing on TST's decision to make such a statement in plain sight ON THE BACK OF THE BOX. There is no mention of it in the description, and it is not displayed. br>br>However, because I believe the product is excellent and simple to program and install, I will keep the system and two additional flow-control devices. sensors for my 8-year-old son The term "wheeled motorhome" refers to a vehicle that has wheels. I'm keeping the four extra flow-ins. After purchasing new tires and installing metal stems, I purchased through sensors for my pickup truck. I've chosen the non-stretchable version. flow- For my car trailer, I needed through caps. br>br>I only gave it three stars to emphasize that there is some "fine print" to be aware of when installing flow-control software. via non-contact sensors Valve stems made of metal!.

The charging instructions on the monitor are not to my liking
3/5

Over the course of a few days, I sat down with these. one by one, I carried out the instructions I was able to program each sensor to correspond to a specific tire. The sensors should be labeled. I got to know the monitor by charging it up. br>br>There were two things that I didn't like: The monitor alternates between showing the status of all six tires. I'd prefer a mo it or something similar that displays the current status of all tires in one glance all of the time. The second problem is that They want you to plug the monitor in once it's fully charged, but it'll die in four hours. 6 hours? And it appears to lose its programming when it shuts down. I didn't want to be the one who had to babysit a monitor, making sure it was plugged back in before it died completely. br>br>I DEFINITELY didn't want to go through the trouble of reprogramming it if its memory was lost. br>br>The last straw was when one of the sensors failed to function right away. Others had done so, but not this one. To be fair, I never asked for a replacement sensor from them. I'd made up my mind to return it. br>br>Because this company appears to be at the top of its game when it comes to tire safety monitoring, having to send them back was disappointing.
