In this manner, it is not the distance (monitor to sensor on a wheel) as much as the pressure the monitor can withstand that would prevent this type of use on a trailer. There is a pressure rating of 65 psi for these. There is a possibility they will rise a bit. It doesn't make sense to take the chance. Just find a set of tires that is within the range that is safe
Charging of the unit's main unit involves the use of a USB Charge must be performed prior to usage. Once the unit is installed, it will stay charged by the solar panel. The solar panels on the wheel units charge them automatically.
To change the sensor, you need to loosen the valve stem nut and twist off the sensing tube with the wrench included in the kit
The copy of the manual I attach to my review is a scan. There is a JPG scan of all the pages in English that is clear and legible. Thus it should show up once it has been reviewed and approved by Amazon.
Selected User Reviews For Jansite TPMS Solar Tire Pressure Monitoring System, Universal Wireless LCD Display 4pcs Waterproof External Sensors Real-time Detection Tire Pressure Temperature Auto Security Alarm Systems 0-62 PSI
As a general rule, I do not write bad reviews, but as a last resort, I will consult with the seller. However, I did buy the Jansite TPMS Solar Tire Pressure Monitoring System a few weeks ago, after doing research on several models. The display of the model I selected was appealing to me and I chose it based on the good reviews. I was able to install the software without any problems. It was necessary for me to rewrite It would then display all four temperatures and pressures when paired with two of the sensors.
Around the time of installation, the outside temperature was 45°F. The temperature dropped to 12 degrees a few days later. For all tires, the temperatures on the unit remain around 40 degrees. I then increased the PSI from 31 to 35 on all tires. As a result, the unit showed no reflection of As of now, it shows a PSI of 31 and 32. This issue was brought up four times in my email correspondence with Jansite. Apparently, they asked me to resubmit A pair of sensors must be paired. I did not get a different answer. . . The other answer I got was that there could have been leakage (I know, but not 4 PSI in a few minutes), and that the difference of 4 PSI is acceptable, and the temperature comes from the inside Several times I asked for an exchange or refund, but I got no response other than the fact that the numbers were It is unacceptable for me for there to be a 4 PSI difference. The TPMS just don't make sense to me. Nevertheless, the PSIs and temperatures did not change at all, so I am not convinced I can trust it. As a precaution, I am planning to purchase another system from a local auto parts store so in case of problems I can get in touch with someone there.
It is a complete NO BUY and I have tried contacting them. Responding to them is not important to them. BUY THIS GAME BUT DON'T BUILD IT! BUY THIS GAME BUT DON'T BUILD IT! Please note
The date for the update is 10/28/2020 and we are so excited! A ONE AND A HALF MONTH OLD SENSOR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE CAR. IF I WERE SMART, I WOULD NOT BE AS SPEECHLESS AND ALL I WOULD LIKE YOU TO DO IS THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY THIS ITEM. - - - I bought this product a month after I bought it, and it suddenly started going bad for no reason, leaving me stuck on the road because I couldn't get a reading from the faulty sensor to fix it on time. DO NOT.
There are a lot of vague directions. It is possible that they are more accurate in Chinese or Mandarin. Seeing as I do not speak Chinese fluently, I will never know. The settings menu has buttons to set psi and bar and to regulate temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius. There was a temperature displayed, but setting anything after that is like hitting a brick wall. 'Pure garbage' comes to mind when discussing this product, which is the best of Chinese engineering. You will save money and time if you do this.
Despite the fact that my first one arrived in good time, it was not functional. The company did not cause any difficulty in replacing it and I did it very quickly. It works great, but there are two problems There is no way to twist off the cap of the plastic bottles. Even though it does not remove the entire unit, it is still possible to take the batteries out if one so desires without having to remove the whole unit. The second part is also included. Four out of the four tire gauges were missing stickers. We do not need to be concerned about this As long as the weather is this bad in Texas, I wouldn't be surprised. The good news is that my brain power and instinctual abilities enable me to identify which tire (LF, RF, LR, RR, etc. ) lies where.
Based on my experience with it for a little over one month, this is not a product I would recommend. Observations 1. When reading tire pressure or temperature, it is difficult to determine either. As a result of the heavy sunlight ahead, your display will be completely blacked out. 1. . 2. I had one of the sensors not working at first when I installed it. My first thought is that the battery in that sensor might have run out. The funny thing is that there is exactly one extra battery Thus, the depleted battery now works now that I replaced it with a Some of them started responding slowly a few weeks later and took more than 20 minutes to display the first measurement. They are both dead exactly 40 days after installation, and the batteries are reading below 2 volts. I am 65 years old.
There is a pretty poor level of accuracy. The pressure is off by about 2 PSI. It functions well for the most part, but it can sometimes lose connection with some of the tires. With the receiver on it, you must take off the stem first, then replace it with the stem. matched my expectations for the price when I saw it. Looking back, I would have spent more for a better unit if I knew then what I know now.
My experience with these has been that I have bought several of them for older cars I have owned and at one time had four or five and never had any problems. As far as I am concerned, they constantly updated the pressure and temperature, which brought me peace of mind while driving on the interstate. The situation so far After receiving this device, it failed to work after only a few days (replaced the batteries since i have not used them for a short while yet, so I now have extras). My first one was defective, so I returned it and received another. This new one will not update unless you physically remove the sensors from each wheel and screw them back in. The previous times I've bought these, I've left reviews, so I believe either this seller is selling defective items or in general they have a quality control issue that wasn't there before. The result will be very disappointing, whatever the case may be.
I finally got the opportunity to install the TPMS a couple of months ago. I found it easy to install the tire encoders. Although, the directions you provided to set up the monitor were extremely hard to follow and In the end, I removed everything from the monitor and put it in my shed after I had tried a few times to set it up.
