The originals have broken twice on our 2005 Prius, so I've had these for almost a year and a half now. (With age and repeated use, the plastic posts that keep the metal retaining ring in place become brittle and break off. I am sure that that will be the outcome when the after-effects develop The replacements that are available on the market will fail, but I am very pleased with my choice and am expecting it to last the rest of the car's life. There were twelve rings in the box stacked, each in a plastic sleeve, and an extra layer of craft paper to keep them from abrading against one another. There are some differences in fit and finish between these rings and the OEM rings, but for the price, they are perfectly satisfactory. I don't notice the difference at all, and I'm certain most others don't, Prii of this vintage are quite common to drive around with one or more rings missing, or to have been stripped of all of their rings by their owner.
Outstanding value for the money! The installation process is simple. These rings seem to be exactly like the originals. My old, chipped rings would cost $400 to replace as the dealer wanted $400. On Amazon, I found these for only $40, so I had to have them. They were removed by the tire shop's mechanic in about four minutes, and these rings were installed. I brought them to a local tire shop. However, I gave him a $1 tip regardless when I refused to pay him. I like the way they look A brand new experience - The Prius I have is a 2007 model. Thank you for selling these to me! I am glad I got them!.
They were easy to install and fit in seconds. Our vehicle is getting ready for sale, so we decided to fix a few of the broken wheel covers without spending too much money. There is a lot of value here! A quick update Despite the tight sealing, one of the covers broke after one week. The covers stick out more than the OEM ones did, and when my wife pulled into a parking spot, the cover immediately tore against the curb. In an attempt to replace just one of the covers, I contacted customer service, but was told that I needed to buy all four As far as I could tell, they weren't much help.
This was purchased because my rear hubcaps were damaged when my rear tires were changed. These can be installed by anyone without the need for outside help. It's easy to wear! Just snap it on to get started! This takes only a few As a result, I was able to obtain these items thanks to the reimbursement. These are similar to OEM hub caps, and they are even the same! Both the quality and the price of these are appealing. The price of 1 OEM hub cap is half that of 4 aftermarket hub caps. That's a huge win for us!.
In truth, I only needed two out of the four pieces, but the reasonable price made it a better decision to buy That was the right thing to do for me. I purchased the rings for my 2008 Prius and they fit Getting it installed was a simple process. It took me a couple days to make sure they did not come off the wheel, but I'm happy to report that they do appear to be In addition, I compared them with the OEM rings (which were severely damaged) and they seem to be of similar quality. I am also very pleased with how fast the delivery came. The rings I recommend are very nice.
Originals are thicker than this, as others have pointed out. They have a slightly different design that clearly makes them distinct from the originals. The product you will receive will not look like the pictures on this page. The photos are originals, not the product you will receive. As the pegs stick out more, it's much easier to curb them and ruin the original (just ask me how I know that). I don't know how well they perform in comparison to the original trim rings since they are cheaper and appear to have less aerodynamic characteristics. There is a portion of the originals included.
The fit may not be as snug as the OEM, and it does not appear to sit flush but all in all you cannot tested them by driving over bumps in the car, and so far, they are still in place, so they must be snug enough to keep them in place. We sell OEMs at a much better price than retailers.
Despite Toyota having separate "trim rings" on their wheels, I am not sure why they opted to do so. A 2005 Prius of my wife's lost an argument with a taller than normal curb, and I was shocked to see that ONE ring cost as much as There are four for $40 so I thought I would take a gander at chance & luck A set is in the works. The other three are put away as spares until I need them. They fit the originals so closely that I saved them until they were needed. The only time I will hesitate to order another set of rings is if the car is still running when the last ring breaks.
