This machine has a quick heat up and is easy to use. The digital control dial is more reliable than just a regular rheostat knob. In addition to fixing plastics on an ATV and a cracked cowl cover on my truck, I used this stapler/welder. I was pleased with the welder's performance. My staples were applied first, and then I used a welder to fill the crack, then I sanded it. We had trouble using the temp controls, but the temperature controls were easy to operate. The painted plastic on the ATV was repainted and you couldn't tell where it had been repaired. Stapling on both sides becomes more durable when they are welded after. It is a great tool for repair work. It is recommended.

The cover of a plastic bumper was repaired with this. I think so far the system is working great. The staples are heated quickly and it's easy to place the staples exactly where you want them to be. Stapling will take place from the back, and grinding and plastic welding will take place Although the bumper is already pretty solid, it will be even better in the future. For my shop, I bought this. A great stapler, used it to repair the console of a 1994 Jeep, and it worked great, had a wide range of heat, so I was able to control it completely at all times. This would be a great tool for anyone who has to work on late-model vehicles.
